Fajita Taco Place will be one of my new favorite breakfast taco pick-up places due to its proximity to my new work. They sold me on the warm, buttery-tasting, and perfectly floury tortillas. But, I rate mexican restaurants on three vital items: Beans, Rice and Tortillas. I did not have a chance to try the rice, but the beans were not so good. The beans are edible, but lack the flavor one seeks in refried beans. I had the chorizo and eggs breakfast that came with diced potatoes, refried beans, and two fresh tortillas… I think the whole meal was under $ 5… can’t really beat that! What also impressed me was the salsa bar… since this is a small mexican restaurant I fully expected them to only have two salsas to offer, usually one red and one green. But my co-worker who enjoys hot sauce enjoyed the salsa he picked at the salsa bar. My co-worker liked the carne guisado taco so well that he ordered another one! He tried one each of the bacon and egg, carne guisado, and the country sausage and egg… they all looked good, and my co-worker seemed to enjoy them. This place is very casual and the prices are cheap! I will definitely be back for some breakfast tacos to-go in the future. They do not have a large sign for thier establishment, but are located behind a very bright yellow-painted gas station/car repair place.
