This has to be the WORST middle school I have ever encountered. Everything is COMPLETELY disorganized and while the Principal, Vice Principal and School Secretary have a great attitude the rest of the staff, in the office, needs a complete overhaul. The first time I went in to get information about registering my son I was greeted by Rose Lopez. She was extremely rude and inconsiderate. To top it all off she lied to me. We were going over some information about about my son, who has Aspergers, and she told me, «I’m new here, I don’t have any answers for that.» When she went to get someone to answers my questions I noticed a certificate on her wall from the school dated 2009. New? Really? I found out that they adopted a new process and it was confusing for everyone. That I get, everyone has bumps with a new system, but don’t lie to me! After completing registration paperwork, I was told to come in the next morning befor school to get my son put into the system. I was told the day before that someone would be here by 7:15. I arrived at 7:30 and no one was available. I asked how long it would take because my son still needed to eat and was told that it shouldn’t take to long. Twenty minutes later the registrar arrived and I asked her how long the process would take because my son still needed to eat breakfast. She said that he could have gone while we were waiting for her, it would have been nice to have had the first person explain that to me. When I started talking to the registrar, they couldn’t find the paperwork that I had just done the day before, after another 20 minutes it was finally found. While she entered all of the information my son and I were escorted to the cafeteria so he could eat. I have to say that I am impressed with the food at the school and coming from a state where only low income receive free food it is great to see all students receiving it. The cafeteria staff was extremely helpful and polite and I haven’t met any of the teaches yet. If things go well when I do I will reevaluate my review but until then, I have to say, if you can take your child somewhere else, please do so.(I didn’t have a choice) I do like to always leave on a positive note, so with that, I want to say thank you to Ms. Pardon for all of her help! She is absolutely amazing! She was amazinly helpful, upbeat, and organized. My time spent with her was very productive. If you need anything in the front ask for her!
