I started having severe pains in my knees, ankles, and legs. It was so bad that I thought I would have to quit my jobs as I work and walk in my jobs as much as 8 or more hours a day. My doctor through Kaiser just looked and me and said you probably have arthritis and there is nothing you can do about it and he prescribed me an anti-​inflamatory drug that had severe side effects. My naturopathic doctor had recently died but his wife gave me a referral for Dr. Abdo. Once I filled out the 16 page questionaire and sent him my medical history, blood tests he put me on a supplement plan for 3 months. In less than 4 weeks, the pain was gone. He talked to me for about an hour and decided to change the plan for another 3 months to take care of other problems. Then he recommended tests to see if my hormones were balanced, if my body was absorbing miracles properly and a Killer Cell test as I had breast cancer in the past. He also told me most of the tests would be covered under Medicare. This was to see if my immune system was good. He changed my life from living in pain and fear to feeling very good and confident about my health. He is an absolutely wonderful naturophatic doctor and nutritionist with a PHD in nutrition. Since I feel that God’s pure food is the most healing thing there is, I loved working with him. He really understand how the body works and is really one of God’s healing angels. His staff was always available to answer my questions and his prices are minimal compared to what the results he gives you. I was paying $ 500 a month for my insurance and getting absolutely no help from the doctors who could care less about my problems and seemed to have no concept of helping me except to type on the computer while I sat there. Thank God for people like Dr. Aldo he is awesome!!!

I just became a patient but what I can speak of, besides my 3hr initial appt, is dr. Abdo success w/​a family member. She had been diagnosed w/​a rare genetic disorder that was fatal. After 7yr + of undergoing the traditional medicines which included treatments that killed her body & drained her families finance, she ended up at dr abdo in a bad state. Where do I start? I was diagnosed with late-​stage breast cancer in August 2007. I am young, with two little babies. My medical doctors scared the life out of me every time I saw them and were focused on nuking the heck out of the tumor, the rest of my body be damned. I’m hoping I have about another 50 years to live so I want to make sure there’s something left of me when the medical doctors are done! Dr. Abdo is brilliant. He is a lifesaver. He gave me hope, which is key. But he also gave me results. My blood tests were consistently great. My red blood cell levels did not take a huge hit during chemo. I had minimal pain and nausea. I had energy to spare during the radiation. I’m done with all that now and he’s working with me to make sure I’m healthy and don’t have a recurrence of illness. This man is awesome. I have literally trusted him with my life. I worry about his safety and health because I don’t know what I would do without him! Seriously! I do want to note that I’ve never actually met him. I’m in California and I’ve only had phone visits with him. I do the blood and other tests that he requests and we go through the results together. It works surprisingly well. Also, compared to the cost of some other naturopaths I interviewed, his prices are a steal. You have to be proactive with his staff but I’m okay with that.
