Food was fine but the service was terrible. They brought our food out very late, and piecemeal. The manager apologized but did nothing else. Our child got very cranky due to the long wait and we had to leave without finishing our meal. Very disappointing.

MANDATORYSTOP! Since we don’t have Cracker Barrel’s in SoCal, whenever we are near one, we must stop! This location was great! Wonderful staff, great food(DUH) & fully stocked store with lots of goodies for the road!

I came here having high hopes that the food would be delicious. The wait was about 30 – 45 on a Saturday morning for 2. I ordered the grandpas fried breakfast with the chicken fried streak. The portions were big with a side of eggs, grits, hashbrown casserole, and 2 biscuits. The grits were plain and lacking flavor, the hashbrown and chicken fried steak were both okay. Maybe their dinner selection is better?

Two stars not on food or service but on coffee. What’s worse to having breakfast and being given water down coffee. We had same experience at the 410⁄151 location. Bring back the better quality coffee!

If you’re smart you’ll go early in the morning avoid the rush at lunch but none the less even if it’s busy in the early mornings these people always bring out your food promptly I love their chicken fried steak and their pancakes!!! Service and food is always great at this location, the managers who work there sure are on point when it comes to running the entire restaurant! Good job!!!

Current start to the service, Give a child a coloring page… But have no colors?!? Then no welcome, just what can I get y’all. Then serve my drink not even filled up all the way and my daughters without any ice at all?!? Slams them down and goes to another table and acts all friendly to them… Then I ask for ice and she comes and slams that down too… Takes my order and doesn’t once say thank you or even acknowledge our order or anything. Will update as meal continues

This location is fabulous for breakfast. The food is great and comes out hot. The service in the morning is excellent. In the evening and weekends tho it is hit and miss. The service is slow and not very friendly. The food takes forever and it’s usually cold and cooked wrong. Because of this I usually avoid coming here during those times. I love Cracker Barrel and can not really ever stop going so I have 4 stars because I think for breakfast they are worth it.

I was really disappointed with this location. My food was really bland… And the other six that were also in my party agreed. My party ordered both breakfast and dinner items. I heard the macaroni and cheese was great, but that’s it. First, the gravy that came alongside the biscuits tasted horrible! I have been to other Cracker Barrel’s before and the food was so much better. I’m not sure what spoiled gravy tastes like, but this could have fit the description. However, this wasn’t a huge problem for me since I complimented the biscuits with apple butter. This location also does not let you substitute anything! The food taking forever to come out didn’t help the situation either. It wasn’t even that busy!

I have been to many Cracker Barrels including this one at least 10 times. Today, we had a party of four for lunch. The place was very crowed with a 20 minute wait. They handled It well, in an organized manner. Our waitress was great. The food was good as usual. Good country cooking.

This is one of the busiest CBs I’ve ever been to. It was Sunday 9:25am when we arrived. Party of 10, we got seated at 10:10am. Although I hate it took so long, I kinda knew going in it would be a long wait for a party of 10. For the other customers of 2,3,4 and 6 in their parties, they did get seated before me but I understand why. With all that said, it is Cracker Barrel and it is definitely worth the wait! It was my wife’s birthday weekend and we were visiting our children who live in San Antonio and it was a great breakfast. Plenty of parking, they had the fire pit roaring because it was cold for San Antonio, and we were nice and warm at our table. That’s probably the coolest part of CB is they have a fireplace. I have never seen a fireplace at any other restaurant. Table service took about 5 – 7 minutes before our drink order was taken and a few mins to get the drinks to the table. Once that was done another wait staff person took our order, so in a way it was a tag team event. After all the wait time and delay, we had all of our food within 10 – 12 mins after ordering. They got all our orders correct and everyone was happy and left full!!! I love Cracker Barrel and always will be a customer, I have never had a bad experience or service at any location in any state.

I absolutely love this place. Their breakfast is amazing! My favorite is the Big Momma’s French Toast Breakfast, I get it every time!

This food is so good and reasonably priced. Tastes home made and hits the spot after a long trip and hungry tummies.

This Cracker Barrel is special. The food here tastes better than other locations I’ve visited, the staff is friendlier and the food comes out faster too! What to order: Hashbrown casserole — not to be missed Southwestern sausage — has a little bit of heat Bacon — thick and crispy Also fun to browse through the country store.

Let me begin by saying, that my wife and I enjoy coming to this restaurant because the food is great. The hostess managing the tables on the other hand was very rude today, enough said.

I’ve been to quite a few Cracker Barrels and I love them all! This location had such nice staff and great service! If you go for breakfast, try their hash-brown casserole, it’s so delicious and their biscuits with the gravy is really tasty!

It really saddens me to write this review because I USED to love coming to Cracker Barrel here in San Antonio during grade school and throughout college. Today, we received a plate of raw chicken tenders and the service that we received afterwards was incredibly appalling. It’s really unfortunate, but we will not be returning :(

People say that Cracker Barrel is an «OK» place. For me, CB brings back memories of traveling to Texas for family vacations. They don’t call it Southern comfort food for nothing! I love coming here for the fried shrimp or the country fried steak. One thing I don’t appreciate that they’ve changed is that you have to ask for apple butter. If you’ve never had it, I strongly recommend asking for apple butter and putting it on your cornbread! Oh… don’t count the calories…

My family and I come here practically every other weekend for breakfast/brunch. The service is usually pretty great and the food is always always delicious, especially the blueberry pancakes. We’re a large family of 6 and they usually sit us in a decent amount of time. While we wait we either play checkers on the rocking chairs or browse through their knickknacks. I think their prices are fairly reasonable and it’s a really good amount of food whether you get breakfast or lunch/dinner. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice Saturday brunch.

I only get one meal when I come here. Eggs in a basket, it’s sour dough bread with an egg fried in the middle cooked to order. Three slices if bacon or sausage and hash brown casserole or baked apple slices, I’ve never had any problems with service, it’s quick and friendly. If you go to the one off of hwy 151 be aware that Saturdays can be very busy due to lack land AFB graduations.
