#AllergenInfo — Soy: The gentleman opening the shop told me that they don’t use soy oil here, only extra virgin olive oil. However, I was told that anything with their aioli contains soy based mayo, and the Crab Cakes contain soy from other ingredients. This place is across from the Cheesecake Factory in the La Cantera shopping complex, next to the fountain. I got here at about 12:40 pm on a Saturday afternoon, and I caught the gentlemen coming in to open the place. He said they would be opening in about 20 minutes, 1 pm. He was also happy to give me a quick answer about the oil they used. Gratified that it was olive, I was more than willing to wait around for a chance to try out one of their Turkey Crepes. The day was cool, and the sounds of the nearby fountain and the soft music over the nearby speakers ensured that it was a relaxing wait. The spot can make a good place for occasional people watching as well. I confirmed that the Royale Turkey and Mushroom Crêpe was safe, and the gentlemen did an extra check to make sure that they had enough Béchamel sauce on hand to make the crêpe. It was simply but nicely presented, and served hot. It was very flavorful, and well balanced with every flavor sharing the stage. This includes the mushrooms which frequently are handed a bit parts in dishes like this. It was so good, I was _seriously_tempted to order a second, and I would place it at the same level of taste and quality as Flippin’ Out in Addison, TX. The only _minor_down side was because of the way it was folded, the ingredients were slim near the edges, and it made me think it need extra salt. However, as I got closer to the center, the flavors became better balanced like I described above. With such wonderful results from the crêpe, I was eager to try one of their desserts, so I ordered one of their Tiramisu. It is a cute rendition, and the first bites have the chocolate as the predominate taste. The included chocolate straws add a nice crunch as you eat each spoonful. [ I may need to add these to the version I do at home. ;-) ] This food was so good that I know I’ll be back, and I’m looking forward to trying more of their menu.(4 to 4 ½ stars)

Location, location, location. That about sums it up for this place. It’s a little 360 degree bar smack in the middle of The Shops at La Cantera that is well stocked with mostly wine and limited selection of beer. I guess if you want a cold adult beverage and do not want to have to go into a restaurant and drink al fresco, this is your place. Overpriced beer and wine. I ordered a muscato for a friend and got myself a German beer: $ 15 mother effen bucks. They could’ve at least used KY. You’re better going to that restaurant you did not want to go into in the first place.
