Charming Charlie – San Antonio

I love shopping at this store! It is my go to for accessories and sometimes even an entire outfit.
The store is laid out to perfection. They organize the displays by color. Each display typically has a selection of hand bags, sandals, hats, scarves, watches, bracelets, earrings and necklaces. They have nooks near the displays that have clothing items from the same color palate as the display nearest to them so it is very easy to design an outfit within seconds.
Towards the back of the store near the cashiers, they have a section for little girls accessories and clearance items. Unfortunately, going through the clearance accessories is a little tricky compared to the displays and it is harder to find matching pieces. They also have individual fitting rooms that an associate unlocks for you. Sometimes it takes a little while to find someone but not normally.
The staff is always very friendly and greets me when I enter. They don’t follow you around trying to help, which I appreciate. But there is normally someone within a few feet if I do need help.
But the best part of all, is the prices. I never feel guilty with not even looking at clearance because their products are always reasonably priced. I typically can put together an outfit with accessories for less than $ 60! The style is very trendy and there are many, many options.
My only draw back is that the products are not designer. I saw previous comments saying that the items are cheap or even tacky. Just remember, you get what you pay for. If you want lasting quality, you’re going to need to go designer. I buy here realizing that and can appreciate the look of the items for what it is. In my opinion, the designs are competitive to designer style, just made from slightly more affordable material and quality.

Where do I start?! The color-​coordinated sections filled to the max with a variety of items give me an anxiety attack just looking at them! Trying to find sets of accessories here is a nightmare and nothing ever matches the way I’d like!
While I can always find one piece I like at a decent price, the quality is clearly subpar; I can only wear a piece a few times before it begins to tarnish and/​or turn my skin green.
+1 star because, in a pinch, I can always find something for that night’s outfit!

Decent shop for any accessory your fashion arsenal could possibly need: organized by color, the wood-​floor and many-​windowed space is clean and organized. Never really had a need to interact with staff for more than check out purposes, but they seemed friendly.
Prices are a bit higher than, say, Claire’s, but the quality here is also better and the products are of a higher caliber. Instead of little girl’s or teenager-​styles here, you will find on-​trend and trendy accessories for women of any age. That being said, pieces here will not likely hold up to constant wearing. Then again, the styles here aren’t classic daily-​wear styles but trendy statement necklaces and earrings, mostly.
I will say that I do like how they carry a limited amount of clothing (tops and dresses), and have started to reliably stock shoes (flats and summer sandals) and purses (made of inexpensive materials).

Uggghh! This is not my kind of place to begin with. It’s like ‘tacky’ exploded all over the place in here. In my opinion.
I came in looking for a gift for an 11 year old girl who I thought would like some lip gloss, etc. from here. I haven’t bought a gift for an 11 year girl in years so I thought this place would be an easy one to find something.
I asked for help and somebody pointed to where the girl section would be. That was the extent of the customer service. Nobody asks you if you would like any help here.
At checkout I told them my items would be a gift. My stuff was abruptly clunked across the counter and then literally thrown into the bag. No tissue wrap. I asked for a sheet or two of tissue wrap. It was hard to get any attention as the girl quickly turned away from me. Someone did hand me a couple of pieces to put in my bag myself.
I don’t feel inclined to ever come back and look to buy anyone a gift here. The place is full of overpriced junk. The poor customer service is just an insult.

Don’t expect to be greeted at the door. Me and my girl friend walked around the entire store and I was snapping pictures and not one persona asked if we needed help. A lady was standing at the door watched us walk in and did not say a word.
The vide from this store was horrible. The reason it even gets 1 star is because of the price. The price is good.

Charming Charlie can have some really cute things. I’ve bought sunglasses from here (granted in another city) as well as earrings and clothes. The dresses, though a little overpriced, are super cute.
I do think the quality is a little low, but for such a huge accessories store, that’s bound to happen.

Great place to go for accessories. You can pretty much find any kind you are looking for. Definitely helps thats its color coordinated!
The sales staff isn’t very helpful but its never bother me because it’s easy to find things in the store.
It’s definitely a place to check out if you haven’t been.
