I wish I could say that Dr. Sanjana is any different than the other doctors who are after every dollar in your pocket, but sadly he is not. My primary doctor is not linked up with United Allergy so I had to see Sanjana to get a referral. I made it very clear when we met that I was not interested in having him become my primary physician, I was only there for the referral to the allergy clinic in his office. He asked me what medications I was taking, and since I was getting allergy shots I figured I should tell him about all medications. I told him that I take an Alprazolam at night to sleep. He immediately looks at me as though I’m some kind of drug seeking junky, even though I told him I was only there for allergies and never requested any medications. He tells me that Alprazolam is horrible, and that I should try Seroquel. I told him that I took Seroquel when I was younger and it made me feel horrible. So what does he do, he decides to diagnose me(even though I told him I was only there for allergy referral) just so he can slap a diagnoses code on me, and he sends a prescription to Walgreen’s for flonase, which is an over-the-counter medication, and the Seroquel that I told him I had already tried. This doctor is the same as most of the others that I have meant. Pompous, arrogant, condescending and not really interested in anything other than fattening his wallet. If you visit his Allergy clinic then you need to go to another clinic, he charges you an office visit even if you’re just dropping in to pick up the vials for the following month. My physician that I see now spends a full hour with me every time I go and see him. Dr. Sanjana will spend two minutes with you and charge you for 30. Do not choose him as your primary even if he is one minute from your house.

My visit here might be the worst experience I’ve ever had at a doctor’s office. Working two jobs, exhausted, and emotional, I came in to establish a GP doctor mainly to give medication I had been on for over 10 years that is a controlled substance. After waiting well over an hour in the waiting room, Dr. Palmer came in and said he does not prescribe that medication due to his personal opinion of the drug. While I was frustrated having waited over an hour for nothing(I had made my purpose for the appointment well known prior to the day of), I would have understood and respected his opinion if it was given in a respectful manner. But it wasn’t. His manner was far from comforting and not helpful. I felt like he was shaming me for being on this med. «Look at you, you’re 30 years old! It’s time to grow up and face life like everyone else!» Granted, he is not wrong, but he was super rude about it and very unprofessional.(For the record, I stopped this medication a month later. I was working 2 jobs and 14 hour days at the time-which he told me I need to «just quit» bc sleep would fix all my concentration issues I have had for 20 years. While I appreciate another of his personal opinions, this was simply not possible at the time. Even though I told him how much I hated taking the drug but felt like it was a terrible time to stop, he acted like I was just there to try to get my next stash). Long story short, eventually he agreed to prescribe me a lower dose of what I was taking, after I passed a drug test. After the drug test, he came in and told me I tested positive for PCP. !!! I am not on PCP. I don’t think anyone is on PCP anymore. I told him I am positive the test was wrong. After a few minutes of condescendingly telling me how accurate the tests are, he let it slip that another person was shocked to learn he was smoking PCP apparently too… in the same week. Really? Two false positives in the same week and instead of listening to the patient they continue to administer the faulty tests on a regular basis? They are obviously not as accurate as he so proudly proclaimed in such a rude manner. After the appointment I remembered I took a Claritin Readitab when I got there– bc the office smelled like it was drenched in bad cologne. Later I asked a 2nd dr about this and was told the active ingredient in that drug can cause false-positives in drug tests. I really wish Dr. Palmer could have put these two together himself instead of further shaming me. He never asked if I had taken anything that might cause a false-positive(afterall, I was there for drugs so I must be a drug-head) and I was too horrified to think about it at the time. Afterwards, I waited in line to get bloodwork, holding back a massive flood of tears. Weeks passed and no one ever called me back about the bloodwork. I had to call them myself and heard from a less than reassuring voice«oh everything was fine.» I had been borderline high cholestrol before. So it would have been nice to hear specifics but you can’t expect too much. Do not waste your time here. I feel like most of what Dr. Palmer told me about my lifestyle was probably true, but his bedside manner was incredibly rude and inappropriate. After the drug test I literally left sobbing out of frustration with the whole experience. After not hearing from anyone about a follow up on my bloodwork(They were supposed to call me and set up an actual appointment after the results came), everything i experienced here was pretty much confirmed. This is not a good place to recieve health care. Everything seems to be done half-assed. I will never go back to this place. It was a nightmare.

Dr. Sanjana is a professional, knowledgeable physician with a pleasant bed-side manner. I would highly recommend him as a doctor.
