I hate to give away the secret because I still consider it one even though this place is become very popular. this is the best meat market in town by a lot. They recently did some major upgrades to their meat counter and stopped doing lunch service which is really sad because it was awesome. All of their products are great from the steaks to the scorpions(jalapeño stuffed shrimp or chiken). The jerkey is awesome. the sausage is juicy and delicious. The fajita meat is perfect. Whenever i need to impress someone with quality meat for the grill or pit i come here.

I got what are very likely the finest steaks I have ever enjoyed at a recent stop at Bolner’s. We picked up some of their wonderful Akaushi NY strips, and grilled them that evening. They were perfectly aged, lightly marbled, and thick. Unbelievably good. These particular steaks are expensive, but I gotta say that the value was good, due to the extraordinary quality. If the price tag scares you away from the Akaushi(American Kobe-style beef), they had many other excellent cuts available for less. I wanted to bring one of their beautiful brisket flats home with me, but I live out of state; at just $ 3.98 per pound, I am wishing I had brought one with me!
Great experience, nice people, great selection, and best of all, superb products!

Great vibe walking into that century old store. They no longer serve food, so this will just cover the fantastic meat market, spice selection and rubs. The prices are very reasonable compared to what your getting and I went with some of the best, choosing prime rib-eyes, filets and strip steaks. All have proven to be tender and flavorful. My favorite has been the bacon wrapped quail… and boy, is it spicy. I also pick up cabrito and round out my purchase with some chorizo, smoked bacon, and sausage(which is usually too lean for my liking, but my wife enjoys it.) Bring a cooler, buy big and enjoy.
