Well it’s not the best bbq in town by far but it is delicious, well it’s actually more like the McDonald’s of bbq in San Antonio at least that is to me. The food here is very affordable an I would say the customer service here is ok but then again almost everyone that works here is still in high school or living with mom an dad. Except the manager of course well I hope lol who knows now days. Either way I recommend the sweet tea I mean for the love of Baby Jesus they sell it by the bucket wow it must be tasty but the food is all good I would hope these kiddos one day they learn in high school math to add extra meat to my sandwich but I don’t think that’s in their agenda yet wait till I Unilocal about it. But if you come here you must get the deserts the brownies are delish the coconut pie is finger licking goooood an last but not least forgotten the PECANPIE to die for well pretty good at least to come back for it more than once

The person who took my order was very rude so I pulled up to the window and politely asked Yazmine what was the girls name who took my order and she said she couldn’t give me that info. If I want to make a report for bad customer service I think I should be able to know the person I am making a complaint about so the whole team doesn’t get reprimanded for one persons attitude. So Yasmine calls over the manager, who I didn’t ask for because I know management at this location is just as rude as the team members, was quite successful at making problems worse when all that needed to be done was giving me the name of the young lady who took my order. After all that trouble of going back and forth with Yasmine and the manager I STILL never found out the girls name. To top it off MYORDERWASWRONG! Stay away from this location. Bandera and Wurzbach. I’ve been to other bill millers all around SA and this location has to be the WORST, HORRIBLE customer service. Highly recommend the one on guilbeau and bandera, mostly teenagers working there but they are ALWAYS so nice and welcoming. ANY location except this one. I wish I could give less than a 1 star

Pecan Pie is like crack! I bought three and hand-carried them on a plane back to Cali.

Breakfast tacos are amazing here! The tortillas are thicker, almost like a cross between a tortilla and a pita. Really good! I always get the egg, cheese, and potato tacos. I really like that they actually cook the potatoes on the griddle. Good flavor. Salsa that goes with them isn’t too hot, but provides a little spice. Coffee is not good, tastes like dirty water. Really tried to like it. Drive through service was fast and well done, they made sure I had everything I needed.

i went to this place twice. Pretty much a bbg fastfood joint and i stopped doing fastfoods stops due to factory like service. Just like quick serve line, they ask you what you want before you can decide or figure it out(if it is your first time). i ordered the brisket plate like in the picture they proudly display. The brisket was reddish and just like i had guessed, undercooked. it was not cut like the picture, but into«small» strips like it was hard to get any meat? I know i should have said something the minute she put the plate down and asked what sides i wanted. it was busy and my first time, I didn’t want to slow down the locals, so i just hoped for the best on taste, and that was a $ 10 lost. The rice was bad, wouldn’t order again, the string beans were okay, happy to eat something tasty and I had the potato salad which was okay, if i remember. The second trip, I wanted to go with old reliable-chicken. i was dying to try their bbq sauce, that’s usually the clincher to any restaurant. I don’t know if she said it comes in ¼ pieces, she was rushing me to order-got to get them out, keep them moving. I know I heard ½ and i didn’t want that much so I just ordered the 2 piece fried chicken just to get out of the drive-thru. The fried chicken was okay but i didn’t go there for that and I would go there for that. The fries were good. I asked for a tea drink, mistake, if you order a drink at these places, make sure you emphasize what size you want, its a good thing I always scrutinize the menu board, she, of course, rang up a large. Didn’t ask me what size I wanted, just thought about sales. The«small» drink was horrible small, they don’t use«kids drink» to label their drinks anymore? Then the expected ripoff, clogged the cup with ice, I am out of the habit of ordering from a FF restaurant that i forgot to say no ice. I won’t eat at any BM restaurants only because I am not into FF style service with the exception of Chipotle and they get on my nerve because I know what i want IF they would allow me to tell them.

Rudest drive thru ever! It sounded like the girl inside was overwhelmed and just mad at the world. I was hoping maybe she was like that because the food was worth the hassle. Boy was I disappointed! First time I’ve actually had bad barbecue! I was especially surprised because Texas has the best barbecue places I’ve ever been to. Very disappointing food and even worse service.

The breakfast tacos are awesome. This is my go-to place to grab tacos in the morning before work. Try the bean and bacon taco, egg and bean taco, and potato and egg taco. Drive thru is pretty fast. Friday’s are the craziest mornings at the drive thru but again goes by pretty fast. Get there early. The salads are really good. I get the salad de-lite with baked chicken and Italian dressing and the dressing tastes awesome!

I had ordered a small turkey for Thanksgiving to be picked up and decided to have lunch there before taking our holiday bird home. It has been years since I have stepped foot into this place and was surprised how nice it was decorated inside. I remember Bill Millers interior was plain, simple and cafeteria style of ordering. This place is designed to order up front and wait for your order to be ready. People in San Antonio seem to eat a lot where the menu showed it. All the plates has a lot of meat items and three sides. I asked for two pieces of fried chicken and fries, and a big cup of must have sweet tea. The place was not too busy and easily found a place to sit. The chicken was great and was able to try the Spanish rice which was good too. The fries were good but nothing different from other places. My niece pointed out to me that everything they give you is throwaway except the silverware which was stainless steel. Overall for the price I paid it was a great deal. The staff was very nice and helpful, and they even refill our sweet tea for us. After eating my next step was to get my turkey for take out. They had part of the seating area closed for paying and picking up turkeys. I get there, tell them my name and paid for my turkey which also came with two small tubs of dressing and one gravy. The turkey is precooked and ready to warm up for eating. They also gave me an instruction sheet of how to prepare all the items. On Thanksgiving day, I baked one of the tubs of dressing for 1 ½ hours and warmed up have of the gravy in the microwave. The dressing and gravy was very good. The turkey is smoked cooked and took the option of cutting it cold and warming it up in the microwave. This way the remaining turkey stays cold for the next day. Overall the turkey tasted very good including all the sides and definitely do it again next year or perhaps this Christmas.

Bill Miller used to be so much better back in the day, when I was in high school and here on the weekend with my family. I left for college, and then when I would visit, the food wasn’t as great. However, they started serving breakfast tacos. San Antonio is a mecca for breakfast tacos, and I absolutely love the«country» sausage and egg tacos you can find around the city. Bill Miller uses the BBQ sausage that they sell during the day — salty, tasty, yummy — and puts them in flour tortillas with eggs. Another great thing about Bill Miller? Big Red in fountain drink form. My San Antonio fix can be satiated in a morning with breakfast tacos and Big Red.

I give this place three stars hesitantly, and based on the pinto beans, potato salad, and Dutch apple pie. The chopped brisket sandwich was served on a bun that was toasted too dark and didn’t feel or taste fresh. The brisket tasted charred. The potato salad was average, the beans were good, and the pie was excellent enough to make up for the botched sandwich. The girl who took my order was not helpful and seemed frustrated that I didn’t have the menu memorized as a first time guest. I will see if another local barbecue place can do better before I come back to Bill Miller.

This is my go to Bill Millers BBQ in the morning when I’m craving breakfast tacos before work. It must be everyone elses too, because the drive-thru line is also ridiculously long. One reason I love this place is because of how fast they are. The line could be out of the parking lot and you would probably be out of there in 5 minutes. Can’t argue with that!

Today’s visit gifted me with tender brisket but a dry jalapeño.
