HORRIBLE service. And just so you know, if you order on line and the order status says«Good news, your items is ready for pick-up»…that probably is not true. That is not the way Best Buy works. I have been given the run around all day, ordered something for same day pick up, but it isn’t ready. Also, you can order something online, and once the order is complete then it could be on backorder. I haven’t shopped there in years and now I remember why.

There is nothing impressive about this location. I never find what I need and the customer service leaves much to be desired. I’d rather drive further for more assistance and items in stock. My rating system: 5*= Driving across town just for this! 4*= I would recommend visiting. 3*= Average, acceptable, positive. 2*= You might be able to drag me in. 1*= I will definitely not be returning.

When this BestBuy First Opened, everyone around the area was excited to go, because they didn’t have to drive to North Star or Ingram anymore. But as the time went by this store has gone to «Sh*T» Excuse my language. But it is what it is. Just recently I took my computer to get it fix, there was a problem w/the registry. before I took it I tried to fix it, but couldn’t unless I wanted to restore it. so I took it to the geek squad. so I paid $ 200 for repairs, n one year geek squad membership for computer repairs. Well about 4 days later they call me and say. «We can’t fix UR computer were gonna restore it» At this point I told them to wait, I went to the store and spoke with the«AGENT» of the GeekSquad and they said, we can’t fix it were gonna re store it. I said«no» «if that’s the case I could restore it at Hm, cuz that’s not fixing the problem, now can I have my $ back» they automatically got on the defensive side and right away said«no we don’t do refunds on services» at this time I told them«I understand but you didn’t service my computer, u just diagnosed it» charge me for the diagnostic, and return the difference” they immediately said«NO» again stating they don’t refund services. Again I told them y’all didn’t service it, cause they just diagnosed they problem, same thing I had already figured out. So I said«you know what if y’all don’t want to refund my $ let me save my pictures on my external hard drive, and y’all restore it and what not» and they said«No u can’t do that unless we take it out of the cue system and then you bring it back, and your gonna be put at the end of the line,» at this time I was like wow are you serious. It was literally one folder maybe 300MBS2 mins of transferring. I then asked them«well can y’all do it for me» and then restore it, and then they hit me with«Yeah we can but it’s going to be and extra $ 100» i was like wow they got to be kidding, and I asked why? They said cause«the service membership you paid for don’t cover«BackUp» at this point I was real heated, still keeping calm though, I asked to speak to the manager. Went back n forth with the manager and explained the situation, same thing didn’t really wanna refund, but he was more understanding, and came to a deal where they gave me «Store Credit» right there and then, not a gift card or anything best buy credit to use right there, so I went and grabbed a microwave paid the difference and cancelled the geek squad membership. And went home restored my computer and what not… But It was a hassle dealing with them… THEYDONTWANTTOHELPYOUOUTONEBITUNLESSYOUPLEADYOURCASE Like INCOURT… Well anyways after going thru that I just recently called best buy, and asked them if I could return my microwave because it was a little small, I never opened it, I just it had it sitting there, because we were working on our kitchen, and then we come to find out it was too small to go over the stove… So I called them asking if I could exchange it, and they said«NO» cause it’s past 15 Days… And cause I’m not a so called«Elite Plus Pro Member» where I could get 30 – 45 days to return something. I was like you have to be kidding me… I hope all best buy ain’t like this one. But from now on I’m taking my business back to the 410 North Star San Pedro Location… Cause man it’s terrible dealing with this south siders employees. Worse Customer Service In BestBuy Retail. They don’t want to help you out one bit. And worse return policy ever, I rather pay a little more at Conns down the street at least there I can return or exchange with out complications… 1 Star for the Geek Squad Manager, Only for really understanding the situation and helping us out. But that’s about it… Anyone want to buy a brand new never opened stainless steel LGOTR1.6CUFT Microwave Message Me have the receipt to prove it !!!

I wish I could give this place no stars! I dropped off an external hard drive for data recovery. They said they would contact me with updates, 1 month later I called and they said it couldn’t be done. So I was like, «so was someone gonna call me and tell me that?» They said eventually they would. I asked for my HD back they said they would call me when it gets back to the store, in a week. 2 weeks later I call inquiring about it and they were like«oh yeah it’s been here about a week now». Again, was someone gonna call me about it? I called recently asking if they had any iPhone 5c. The guy says yes. I say do you have any white? The guy responds«we cannot discuss inventory over the phone» so I told him I don’t want to know how much you have, I just wanna know if yes you have white or no. He said I would have to come into the store to find out. Really??? He then got upset and hung the phone up on me. So guess what? Bestbuy will never get a red cent from me again!!!

This is probably the lesser-stocked/sized Best Buy that I’ve seen, so my tech-lovin bf was not impressed — here’s why: Lots of TVs here, not a lot of sound systems They do have some dynamite sales Random appliances can be found here, as well as strange home goods, like tupperware and vacuums. Not great, but good enough!

I have a love/hate relationship with this particular Best Buy. I’ll have good experiences and then maybe a week later a horrible one. My fiancée and I pretty much got called liars in the mobile department at this store. He had shattered the screen on his phone and took it in to get it replaced through geek squad. We ended up having to send the phone and wait to get sent a new one… which is fine and understandable. Well, when the phone arrived they asked us for the battery to the old one. Well, the girl who helped us out the first time never gave us the battery. Then she proceeded to lie to the geek squad manager(oh, and this is after my fiancée gave her FREE tickets to his attraction… what a you know what). My fiancée then tells the geek squad manager to check the surveillance and she agrees. She leaves and comes back about 3 minutes later saying that they don’t have surveillance in the mobile area. YEAHRIGHT!!! I hate this Best Buy… I really do. I will probably never shop here again.

I went to do a store pick up for an item I ordered online. I was in and out in less then 10 minutes. It was a great experience, and I think I may order more things online and have it shipped directly to the store. It tool a little longer to ship then I thought it should have, but that is the warehouses fault and totally not the fault of the store at all. If you go by bus, the 20 lets you off right in front of the starbucks, then walk up around that building. You will see it.
