I had been craving an available bowl, but hadn’t found a good place in SAtown to get one, and there are none close to me(medical center). This little truck was well worth the drive. I’ll be back for sure!

Berry healthy bowls is delicious! I’ve been here twice now and will definitely be coming back. I love that this place uses organic ingredients. Someone who is cautious about clean eating will appreciate it! The price is on the higher end BUT so is going out for frozen yogurt or through the drive thru. I’d rather have something delicious, healthy, and clean. Thank you for bringing healthy to SA!

Discovered this gem today and I’m glad we did. The Berry Health Bowl is a food truck style trailer in the parking-lot of a Cross Fit gym. We tried the Berry Mex with mango & chili powder and the Berry Berry bowl. Both were delicious. The presentation was great, the bowls were put together like art. Much more important to me was how fresh all the fruit tasted. This family owned business is doing a great job, stop by for a cool fresh bowl, your body will thank you.

Excellent addition to the neighborhood and to San Antonio! Like the other Unilocalers have said, the owners are super nice people. I think their products are good value for what you get: extremely fresh, all organic, fantastically healthy food and drinks. I got the ‘Berry Full’ and substituted extra blueberries for the papaya… delicious. Everything that goes into their bowls is sliced fresh and assembled for presentation in master chef style. A great food truck… I’ll be back!

One of the most innovative, healthy foods I’ve had. The bowls are a great way to fuel your body before a workout and the portion size is perfect for right around $ 7. The bigger bowls will certainly fill you up, and are almost tragic when mixing up, due to the beautiful presentation. Anyone with an appreciation for healthy food for a fair price will enjoy snaking on a Berry Healthy Bowl.

A must try for those who need some quick energy or a meal to go that won’t leave you feeling guilty. Let’s face it, if you want something healthy to eat and you live in San Antonio you’re better off asking for ice water in hell. Not anymore since Danny brought his awesome creations here, his friendly demeanor and paleo/organic options will have you coming back for more. This establishment is a positive step forward for San Antonio to become a healthier and happier city.

I love supporting family owned, local, fresh businesses so, I was very excited to read about an Acai bowl business opening that was also organic. I hate having to write this review but I feel a business can only improve with honest feedback. Firstly, let me say that the family base of this business is wonderful and they treat their customers with so much friendliness that I really have to commend them for that. They chose an amazing location for business outside a gym, no better way to fuel up after a work out or ever than with fresh whole foods. But, and I hate to say but, this needs to be said. I was very very let down by the bowls we ordered. At $ 10 a piece we received a very very small amount that did not satisfy our hunger or palate. Our Acai was ice chipped and slushy not smooth and blended like we are accustomed to having and the flavor was lacking. The Acai is to be the highlight of the bowl, and it was just really not good. We added our own ingredients at home to help build up the bowl but it just didn’t work. For $ 10 you should be getting a pretty reasonable sized meal. I understand organic is more expensive but my bowl only had the Acai, blackberries, blue berries and strawberries with a drizzle of coconut oil and a light garnish of almond butter. I could make a bigger bowl that would be more cost effective. I feel horrible writing this but we stared at our bowls and really wondered what we had paid $ 20 for :(I feel so bad because the owners are such sweet sweet people. But the bowl just didn’t stand up to its expectation. I hope this is taken as positive feedback with room for improvement.

Acai bowls have come to SA! Berry Healthy Bowls is a food truck situated in the Jones4CrossFit parking lot– use the address to navigate, as the pin on the app is currently wrong. Danny and the bright colors of the truck are cheerful and friendly. The acai is a bit less berry-flavored than other versions I’ve had, but each bowl is topped with a beautiful arrangement of fruit. Menu includes several versions, including tropical, citrus, and paleo twists. My only gripe is the price! It’s organic, and healthy, and made to order, all things I love that cost more. However, I paid $ 9 for a regular size bowl and the takeout container I received was barely half full. There is a domed lid to ensure you can pack more in and keep the fruit toppings. Please give me the correct serving next time! Note that the truck also sells some smaller goodies, including various bottled acai products and a pet-friendly ice cream treat for your furry pal.
