To Susan. I am a regular there and no one murdered your cousin. No one was arrested because everything was on video. They didn’t over serve your cousin he had one beer. He was on drugs and was asking people for drugs that night. They tried to help him out by keeping his keys and calling him a cab. They were even paying for the cab. Your cousin flipped out and pulled a gun on them. The employees there are all really nice people and it was an unfortunate event. But ideas there that night. The staff was just protecting their lives and it was all on video that’s why no one was charged with anything. The person at hand still feels emotional about it all and has made peace with your family and to this day won’t let anyone say anything bad about your cousin. I think you should retract your statement and not blame the bar staff but the drug dealer who got him hooked on the dope.

I love Barton’s Boozery. The name alone merits a visit! There are no windows in the bar. This place is the definition of a dive bar – in the very best sense of the term. The bartenders are friendly and the patrons look like they’re mostly from the neighborhood. I once went during a karaōke night (not sure if that’s a regular thing) and everyone in the room erupted in song when a friend put on a song from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It’s that kind of place. There are a few pool tables around and a tv.

A great local bar and now that it is under new management it is even better! They offer a great inexpensive happy hour from 10 am to 7pm, pool tables, darts, and an up to date jukebox. This is a bar where bartenders know your name and have your drink ready before you can even sit down. Overall I suggest everyone checking out this great bar that is a locals favorite.
