I enjoyed the customer service from walking in the door to walking out. The cashier was sooo friendly and she had a smile on her face. Enjoyed the food as well, I’m a strong believer when you have great customer service a greater favor is left about the food. Way to go!

I had recently wrote a bad review about this place after an awful experience with one of my close friends and I have to admit that my opinion about this place has completely changed after I unexpectedly got a personal message from the manager. He had respectfully apologized for the service and explained how he had not only recognized the problem, but acknowledged it by correcting the situation and is making sure that it never happens again. This is the kind of things I respect in a company. I’ll definitely be coming back very soon.

Yogurt is OK but the two females were too busy talking to each other. After we purchased almost $ 15 of frozen yogurt we noticed the offer a military discount. But the two females decided it was too much trouble for them to redo the transaction to give the discount. Obviously they have different priorities than the owner. And this happened during Memorial Day Weekend commemorating the sacrifice made by military members.

First visit. Nice and clean … good selection of yogurts … huge selection of toppings. You pay by weight(not sure the comment of how they’re not stingy with the toppings, unless they were referring the wide choice, as you’re paying for those toppings you’re putting on top. My wife and I had our 2 grand kids with us(8 and 5) and our bill was $ 23.00. The kid’s loaded up, my wife and I had smaller portion with little to no toppings. The cup is huge… they only have one size, so you’re paying for the weight of the cup at 44 cents an ounce. Nice change of pace from BR or other ice cream stores, but a little pricey in my book for what you get.

I wasnt blown away. It’s a typical self serve yogurt shop. I wish these places were more warmly decorated. I find the atmosphere to uncomfortable. My yogurt was good. The different flavors were interesting, but I went with the French Vanilla. Honestly save your self some time and money and head over to HEB and buy Healthy Choice Frozen Greek Yogurt. Blows this french vanilla out of the water. Anyways… I probably wont be back, but it was«ok»

Friendly staff, clean interior, comfortable seating indoors and out, free Wi-Fi… oh, and a great choice of froyo flavors and toppings. We enjoyed it!

I wish I could remember exactly what I got(helpful, right?), but I’m pretty sure it was the mango and raspberry loaded with fruit and those crazy boba balls(in passion fruit). So delicious! Loved every spoonful. Lots of great seating indoors and out on a porch. Really cool atmosphere. So many different toppings. I really enjoy going there.

Great frozen yogurt place! Delicious flavors, an array of toppings, and friendly service. We are regulars at Aspen Leaf.

I am absolutely addicted to this place! They have the best selection of flavors and I love the self serve. Be sure and get the frequent shopper card. In comparison to Yogurt Zone down the street Aspen Leaf is the best hands down!

My husband and I agree that this yogurt shop was not as good as Orange leaf. We were hoping since the names were similar that they were owned by the same people. We don’t think that is the case. It was OK. I had the cookies and cream– which was good. cheesecake– meh, and the straw-banana– meh… The flavor selection seemed small, but the bar full of goodies to put on top had a way better selection than Orange leaf. That was cool, but in the end it all comes down to the yogurt for me. Price was semi expensive which is to be expected at these type of joints. Overall, it might be an ok selection if it is convenient, but I wouldn’t make a special trip here…

Great frozen yogurt spot! The yogurt has a more creamy taste to it. All other frozen yogurt shops I have been to has more of a shaved iced texture to me. I think that the creamy taste enhances all the flavors that they offer. All of the toppings are always fresh and plentiful. There are even some pretty funky ones that I would never consider putting on frozen yogurt, but they are there for those weirdos. Aspen Leaf has a great atmosphere and is always very clean. This is a regular spot for us.

I was not very impressed w/Aspen Leaf compared to Orange Leaf off of Blanco. Aspen Leaf’s flavors were not as distinct or as appealing to me. I had the Straw-Banana, the Blueberry and the Rocky Road Chocolate. I did like the topping options which were much better than Orange Leaf. I’ll probably go back and try it again just to be sure my opinion is accurate, but for now i’ve gotta give it a Wah Wah Wah…

The gods of froyo have heard my pleas and there are now even more fruit flavors available. The new strawberry lemonade is a little sweet, but I can dig it. My new favorite is the peach mango. Go there now. Tell them I sent you. The cashier will look at you funny.

Wow… this place is amazing. I am in love with the Ginger Lemonade Sorbet. It is a bit spendy, but worth it for an occasional treat. I really wish they would put out some smaller cups though.

My husband and I have tried all of the self-serve yogurt places in the area and Aspen Leaf comes the closest to our favorite franchise Yogurtland. The atmosphere is vibrant and clean. The store manager is almost always there and is super friendly. I enjoy the more savory flavors like cake batter and peanut butter. You can add 10 points on the awesomeness scale by sprinkling some Captain Crunch cereal on top of those. A new addition that has been a pleasant surprise is rootbeer float. No toppings necessary for that one. My husband enjoys the fruity flavors like strawberry banana. We go every Tuesday because it’s two-stamp Tuesdays! You can double the stamps on your frequent buyer card(you need 8 to get a free fro-yo). So really it only takes us two visits to get a free one. Huzzah! I would like to see more flavor rotation. Yesterday there were two different types of vanilla which seemed a bit unnecessary.

OK — It turns out that they must have gotten the message as the 8 oz and 16 oz cups are back. We’ll see if it stays that way.

While I can’t argue with the potential for kids suckling on the soft serve dispensers or sneezing in the fruit, Aspen Leaf does a damn good job with this business model. The yogurts are great across the board, the variety of toppings is expansive(and they don’t hold back on the quantity), they have a cool atmosphere, and comfortable indoor/outdoor seating(and by comfortable, I mean they have free wifi and a variety of surfaces upon which to park your butt).

Out of all the frozen yogurt places emerging in San Antonio, New Braunfels, and the surrounding areas, Aspen Leaf takes the prize. It is by far the cheapest, yet has the same(if not better) atmosphere as the other places, and also has more flavors, and many many more toppings. The quality of their Red Velvet and Cake Batter flavors also exceeds that of other self-serve yogurt joints around town. Highly recommend.
