Aqua-Tots Swim Schools

I would give them a zero if I could. Signed my two kids up for lessons. (Ages 6 and 3). After seeing a child almost drown until the Grandpa ran out and alerted the swim teacher I felt uneasy. Then the head manager was working with my daughter and scared her of swimming. She kept dunking her under the water and keeping her under for 5 seconds. It’s one thing to dunk them but to hold them under is another. That would scare anyone being held under. Cancelled my account and will never recommend this place to anyone. I have two older kids who learned from swim lessons elsewhere and never had things like this happen.

I’m sitting here at 3:30AM because I can’t sleep over what happened here today. My eldest (6years old) and my infant both had classes at the same time this morning. I planned it that way on purpose. My husband was watching me in the class with the baby and my eldest was with her instructor. I turned to wave to her and I saw her under the water, drowning. The instructor had his back to her with another child. I screamed and screamed and he didn’t hear me. It is very loud in there. I was in the water with my infant and was completely panicking. Luckily, the instructor next to me heard me and saw me and managed to get her instructors attention. He pulled her out of the water and she was ok. But now, I can’t sleep because I’m still worried about her having aspirated water today. While I think the school is good you need to remember that NO ONE loves and cares for your child like you do. My child could have died here today. They need someone who walks around and is life guarding these children. Until they have that position, please make use you keep a close eye on your child when they are here.

We were here for 18 months and didn’t have a single bad experience. The teachers are really great at what they do. I’m so grateful for the strong foundation my son learned about swimming while taking lessons at Aqua-​Tots. The confidence, ability, and love for swimming he has are a direct result of the excellent teachers he had at Aqua-​Tots. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking at options for swimming instruction in the area. It is money well spent!

3^rd class! So much fun! The location is nice. The changing area has blow dryers & hair products for anyone to use. The pool is nice & heated. It is however cold when your class is over. Theres a huge glass wall with a seating area. They have a small play area & a TV that plays Disney movies to keep the kids occupied while they wait too. We are really happy with the facility. Looking forward to our next class.

My son is 8 months old and taking parent/​infant classes here. His instructor is Shane who is excellent with the babies. The water is heated and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. You have to pay an annual enrollment fee $ 25 once+ monthly fees which include one 30 minute class per week. The great thing is you can make up a class if you need to.
