Alamo Feed & Pet Supply

I’ve been here a few times over the last several years, and I always come out with what I need and a smile. The folks that run the place are a hoot. Nice and friendly as you would expect from a feed store. I went in and found exactly what I was looking for at a great price, an automatic dog feeder, made in the USA. Also got an automatic water nozzle on their recommendation that worked out perfectly. It’s really great to have something like this so close to home with knowledgeable friendly people. They have all sorts of items, from gardening faucets parts to leashes and of course feed for your critters, and lots of it. It’s almost like walking back in history when the mom & pop businesses ruled the town.

As an urban chicken keeper, I was on the look out for a centrally located feed store where I could get my assortment of feed, hay, medicine, etc., to keep our hens happy. I found it with Alamo Feed & Pet Supply.
This place carries all the supplies you need for virtually all types of animals from swine to birds to dogs. Also, I noted that their Science Diet for dogs was a couple bucks cheaper than it is at Petco and Petsmart.
Word to wise though, it is pretty toasty in there in the summer. Being a feed store, the doors are open a lot and there are only window A/​C units, so if you have some flexibility in your schedule, go in the morning.
