Joe saved me $ 2,500 in replacing my 2007 Prius hybrid batter pack. He sent a technician 120 miles to do the repairs about a year ago. All was well until my car was declared a total loss in an accident last week. Joe’s warranty is great. And he’s a man of his word which is more than a dealership can offer in their warranty. If you have specific questions about his services you should just call him. Someone is always available to take your call. He and his technicians know their stuff. They will go to great lengths to take care of the customer and leave you with more money in your pocket and fewer worries on your mind. He and his business have my respect. If you have a Prius and the battery is giving you any issues you really should call Joe. He’ll talk you through everything and he doesn’t try to lure you in. He’s only interested in helping people who have bad Prius batteries! Great guy. Great business.

My 06 Prius was sucking the life out of my bank account when the dealer told me I needed a $ 4000.00 new hybrid battery. I knew about Joe after seeing his car pass me one day returning from Austin. After my contact and paying $ 175.00 diagnosis fee he replaced my dead battery at my home personally in 2 hours and gave me professional advice on further repairs when needed. He is a consummate pro and if you go anywhere else you will be doing the wrong thing.

A Chinese friend of ours who is a grad student at utsa had her Prius battery fail. She found this option with joe for around $ 1000, compared to $ 4000 at dealer She was traveling out of state in 4 days for an internship so she needed to have it fixed within several days. She called and joe discussed the need to pay $ 175 online. She texted me to ask if this sounded legitimate. I looked over all the reviews and some seemed legit, others I could not say for sure. His physical address on google maps looked like a deserted farm. So I sent him a message on his website and asked him to call me to see if I could see he was legit. He called and answered my questions. I was mostly reassured that he actually had told our friend not to pay the $ 175 until he could try to rearrange some of his fleet contract schedules as he was booked for 2 weeks. The fact that he declined her money initially was either the most brilliant scam ever or a reason to be reassured… obviously since I gave 5 stars, the story ends well. In the end I felt like he answered my questions and we told our friend to go forwarded. He called her the morning and said he had been able to rearrange his schedule. She paid the 175 $ and they came out and fixed her battery. Obviously I cannot speak about how long the battery will last but it is working today.(Think it was $ 900 final price) …and it is a legitimate service even though it feels weird to pay ahead of time Hope it helps if you are skeptical at all.

I freaked out when it became obvious my battery was bad — I was not about to put $ 3500 into an 11 year old car with a blue book value of under $ 5,000. I was lucky to find out about this company, however. They were able to schedule me very quickly and get my car back up and running for a fraction of what it would have cost otherwise. Joe was a pleasure to deal with when he arrived, and clearly had a great deal of knowledge and passions about his work that he was happy to share. It’s been about a week since my repair and everything is working well.

I had an awesome experience with Prius Hybrid Battery Rebuild. Joe was able to get us back on the road for a fraction of the cost of a new hybrid battery, and he took the time to explain how we could best care for not just the replacement battery, but also for the whole car moving forward. He answered all my questions – technical and otherwise, including my two big ones: How is their service so much less expensive? Volume. They make money by doing more installs at smaller margins, rather than fewer at higher margins. The other concern I had was, why cash? With credit card companies charging business owners a percentage fee, he would have to pass the cost on by raising prices. Checks have been too risky, leaving cash as the best way to keep costs down. While installing the hybrid battery in my ’06 Prius, Joe noticed we needed another repair(my aux battery) and was able to replace it on the spot – very convenient! He gladly offered to not only show me, but explain to me, why we should replace it, and the potential repercussions of not doing so.(All of which we were able to verify online.) He also broke down the costs in terms of parts and labor, which I appreciated. Joe definitely knows his stuff when it come to the Prius and will definitely be our first source when it comes to keeping ours on the road!

Alright Prius owners, if you ever have any issues with your Prius, you need to contact Mr. Joe PRIUS… The HV battery in our Prius died this week(04÷27÷13) and the dealership said it would cost $ 5095 to replace the battery with a new one. BUT, we found Joe and he was able to fix our battery for a fraction of the cost, in ONE afternoon, at OUR home. Our Prius is now up and running again, and we saved a ton of $$$$!!! Joe is one of the most honorable men we know and we appreciate his professionalism, his hard work, and his passion for what he does! THANKYOU, THANKYOU, THANKYOU, JOE!!! Update: Joe has contacted us almost a month after fixing our battery to make sure that everything is going well with our Prius. We will be contacting him with any Prius issues we may have in the future! But for now, things are running great… Thanks to Joe!
