Jose was wonderful to work with. I had some error with my sprinkler system and he knew just the fix. He was able to fix my original issue and discovered I would soon have the same problem on another zone pump. I am very happy with the work Jose did, he managed his time well and was able to work with me and my schedule. Jose did a terrific job from start to finish. I called their number and he was available the next day. The next day he texted me when he was on his way. He came up to the house with an enthusiastic smile and was ready to work. He did a good, quality repair job (and very efficient) and looked over the rest of our irrigation system all the while patiently answering all of my irrigation and landscaping questions. We will definitely call him again for both our irrigation and landscaping needs.

Two thumbs up for Jose and his team. I’ve had them do two projects to date:
— grooming the old pecan trees at our new house. They hadn’t been attended to in years. Terrible aphid sticky stuff, dead limbs etc. They ended up taking down two trees that were almost dead — they handled the permits and everything.
— landscaping our front yard: leveling the yard, tearing out old/​dead plants, installing a sprinkler system, recommending and putting in new plants, etc.
They did a great job on both. They’re also currently working with us on a design for our back yard. They aren’t the cheapest option but if you want quality and value for the money, they ‘re a good choice. They’re tree experts and are building up their references in overall landscaping. I’ve already recommended them to multiple people.

A Cut Above does it all and does it all well. They are extremely professional and fairly priced. When i moved into my new home the yard had been seriously neglected for years. A Cut Above trimmed the trees, landscaped the yard, and fixed my irrigation system. They are certified arborists and irrigation specialist. I am very pleased with their work and would recommend them to all.

My front yard was in desperate need of help. I had a huge flower bed that was full of crêpe myrtle stumps, roots, and weeds. I’m pretty sure my neighbors were shooting me bad looks every Saturday morning that I wasn’t out there fixing this eyesore.
While several other companies I contacted were less than enthusiastic about giving estimates, Jose from A Cut Above was prompt and professional whenever responding to my emails and phone calls. Not only did he clean out the whole bed, roots and all, he offered suggestions as to what to plant, and made sure I knew how to take care of my new space. I highly recommend!
