1−800-Flowers San Antonio is, BYFAR, the worst company I have ever had to experience dealing with. I just got off the phone with the manager after having to literally scream over him to demand my money back. UNPROFESSIONALCONARTISTS would be the perfect description for them. I ordered a beautiful sunflower arrangement for a girlfriend who lives in SA last Saturday due to the loss of her Grandfather. The flowers were supposed to deliver the same day. Of course, they did not. After emailing them several times throughout the weekend and on Monday asking for the status and why there was a hold up, Alex Shapovalov finally emails me back with, «We attempted delivery — rec was not available — we will try again today» and that was it. The flowers were then delivered and left on my friends doorstep for several hours in the beating-hot sun. Once my friend got home to them, they were wilted and nearly dead. So, I emailed Alex Shapovalov back with the photo of the dead flowers demanding a new arrangement or a full refund. He responded with, «what is the problem? The sunflowers are just opening up — so that is why they look«ruffled». Um, AREYOUKIDDING? No. Completely unacceptable. I’m not an idiot and neither is my friend; I know wilting dead flowers when I see them??? I was insulted at this point. So, I call them and talk to a nice young lady over the phone, asking her if I can either have a new arrangement sent out or my full refund. She informs me that a replacement arrangement has already been scheduled to be sent out. Although this is news to me since NOONECOMMUNICATEDTHISTOME, I was somewhat relieved that they were«taking care of» the problem. I asked her to please make sure that the driver leaves them in the front office if the recipient is not home. She told me that will not be a problem and she will let her driver know. She said that her driver is scheduled to leave at 3pm. I’m thinking, «Great! Plenty of time for them to deliver her new arrangement to the front office in case she is not home!» Did that happen? NOPE. My friend then calls me laughing, while calling this company a joke, and tells me that they left a handwritten note on her door asking her to call a number in order to receive her new arrangement. WOW. I am in total shock at this point, and very disgusted by this company. So I call them AGAIN, leaving a voicemail that a full refund needs to be issued back to me immediately. Of course, no one calls me back to handle the issue. So, I call this morning and let them know what had happened, how unprofessional it was, and that I would like a refund. After the customer service rep speaks to his manager, he tells me I cannot be issued a full refund due to them having to deliver the flowers on three different tries. So I asked to speak with the manager. By this point, I was very frustrated and heated, yet hoping that the manager would be understanding of my warranted frustrations and would handle the problem properly. NOPE! Instead, he began arguing with me that it was not their fault that the recipient was not home, it was not their fault that the first arrangement was left in the heat to die, it was not their fault that they had to try to deliver it three times, and that they absolutely cannot give me a full refund due to the fact that they HADTO make three delivery runs, even though NOONE contacted me OR the recipient to let either of us know that they were trying to deliver the flowers. I explained to him that if someone would have called me to let me know that she was not home, that would have been better than leaving an unprofessional sloppy note on her door asking her to call herself if she wanted the new arrangement. At this point, I’m basically laughing in this guy’s face. So after several minutes of having the manager yell at me that this is not their problem or responsibility that they have admirably FAILED at providing their one and only simple service, he then tells me I can get a 50% refund, but that he doesn’t know which credit card I used to purchase the flowers. So I go to look at my confirmation email and, OFCOURSE!, it doesn’t say it on there, either. So I had to give him just any card so that I could get my mere 50% refund back, but dammit to hell if they refunded me for the $ 30 delivery fees. Since, you know, it wasn’t their fault that the recipient wasn’t home. Or that they left them in the heat for several hours to die. So basically, in order to have successful service from 1−800-Flowers San Antonio, please make sure that your recipient is home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, or they will either receive dead flowers, no flowers at all, or a sloppy, hand-written note on their door asking them to call a number if they want the flowers. NOTE: 1−800-Flowers San Antonio is an independently operated company; not affiliated with 1−800-Flowers, Inc. Unprofessional, sloppy, and disgusting. Do not give this company your money. You will be sorry.

This is a review for my online order with 1800 flowers. I spent over $ 100 to send my mom flowers for Mother’s Day. The flowers she received looked very different from the pictures online and were not fresh. I sent them an email but they never got back so me. I had to go with google’s buyer protection plan, so they finally called me after Google contacted them. Promised they would give me a refund of $ 45.45, but when I checked my credit card statement, I only saw a credit of $ 15. I would not recommend anyone buying anything from them.

My long stem Roses were the talk of my Job! These roses were almost as tall as me and I’m 5’7! Just beautiful! Every girl loves roses but long stem ones that almost tower over you… You don’t even dream of them! They lasted almost TWOWEEKSTOO! I love my husband and I say thank you again to 1−800-Flowers for delivering me such beautiful well together flowers. Smooches

Review is for online order, not this particular location since I don’t know where my order would be shipped from. If I could give no stars I would. Tried to send flowers to my mom for her bday. I love making it special for her since my father passed away almost 10 years ago and He always made it special for her. Ordered it with time. Get a call the day of her bday saying there’s a problem with my order. What’s the problem? They are going to be delayed a day. We don’t even live in a part of the country with weather delays. Why was it delayed?! South Texas never gets snow or any bad weather for that matter. This is ridiculous. I was so angry at the, I’m assuming, Indian lady that took my call since I couldn’t understand her thick accent. They offer me a $ 20 coupon savings for next purchase. Keep your ridiculous $ 20 savings. I am never ordering from them again. Why would I need it?! And I told her that. She puts me on hold and says they will refund the $ 14.99 for shipping costs but I won’t get that for 5 – 10 business days. We’ll see if they get delivered at all, and if I get that refund. Ridiculous. Also Too late to cancel. NEVERORDERINGFROM1−800-FLOWERS AGAIN!

Unreliable and dishonest. We ordered flowers in advance for Mother’s Day and this location did not deliver them. They said they attempted and left a note at 8:25 p.m.; we had our family at the house waiting for them and there was no attempt or note left. We called back numerous times and they stopped answering their phone.

My husband spent over $ 100 to get flowers delivered to me at work yesterday on Valentines but I didn’t get flowers. And the day after he spent over a hour on hold trying to find out what happened only to be told they had no record of his purchase then magically they found it and said I signed for them.: /I surely did not! Thanks for ruining my Valentines day 1800 flowers! This company will never have our business ever again!

FAILEDTOSENDFLOWERSTO A FUNERAL: We will never use 1−800-flowers again! I used the online service to order flowers for a client’s funeral — being sure to state the occasion in my order. On the afternoon of the day of the funeral, I got a message on my cellphone that the flowers hadn’t been delivered and wouldn’t be delivered. I called back about 10 times and no one ever answered the phone; I couldn’t even leave a message. When I called back today to complain and cancel the order, the guy on the phone was completely unapologetic, didn’t offer anything in response and was borderline rude. I’m really upset because our office promised flowers for the funeral, ordered flowers(and were charged for them) and ended up looking bad even though the screw-up was not ours. The actual provision of flowers(namely, the lack thereof) sucked and the customer service beyond sucked. We’ll never use them again.

I wanted to provide a general review of 1−800-flowers — not particular to this location. I have used this online service in the past with exceptional results; however, I recently ordered flowers for my grandma’s birthday and had a horrible experience. The FIRST set of flowers arrived with leaves falling off and dying flowers. Customer service refunded my money and sent replacement flowers. The SECOND set of flowers arrived with wilted roses and flowers that were losing petals. Needless to say, I will probably order elsewhere next time. I’ve spoken to others in my family who have had similar experiences recently. Sounds to me like this company has reduced their quality control measures. It’s unfortunate!
