The best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. My mom and I recently stopped in for lunch and had an amazing meal. Not only is the lunch menu priced very well but for the amount of food you can easily have leftovers for dinner. I had never had a chicken curry puff but that may have been my favorite thing. In San Anselmo it is hard to find an affordable lunch that is also tasty and this is it. Also they sell their sauces and found they’re great to use at home. Also have done takeout with them and it is fast, convenient and very easy. Had friends over for Auryn Thai takeout and they both loved it, wondered why they hadn’t been before. The owners are very friendly with the daughter in the front of the restaurant and the mother doing all of th cooking, a real family affair! If you’re looking a top notch meal this is it!

My favorite Thai restaurant since ownership changed a couple of years ago. Authentic food with ingredients that are often imported straight from Thailand. Chu chee prawns!

Hands down best Thai restaurant in Marin! Their specials use real Thai ingredients that you don’t get anywhere else. Apple –eggplants? Awesome. This is the real deal. I’ve tried at least half the menu by now and never been less than blissed out. If I had to pick a favorite dish it would be the Pad-Chaa. Or the Yum-Sen-Yai. Or the Thai version of won ton like soup. Or or or… Bonus? The woman who owns the place is super nice. Go here!

I live a mile away from Auryn Thai and I have no clue why I haven’t visited sooner. The food is top notch and the service is excellent. I went with a group of four, and everyone in the group loved everything that was ordered. The food is all very fresh and the staff is very accommodating to individual dietary needs.

I’ve driven by it for over a year and we chose to come out of the blue. We totally judged it by the outward appearance and the fact that it shares a lot with the Walgreens. I was shocked by how nice it was inside and how good the food was. It was a slow weekday evening, but the staff was great while we had a good time and a good meal.

Auryn is lesser known, but the best bet for Thai food in San Anselmo. Worth figuring out how to get to for superior food, lovely ambience and friendly service.

I don’t know what happened. I loved this place, the owners and staff. Food was really really good. I went in the other night to grab some food to go. I know it was a little late but there was only one couple in the place and one person that came in to pickup take out while I was waiting. Anyway, I ordered the catfish with green beans and the chicken eggplant. The catfish had been deep DEEP fried and was hard like jerky(pretty sure that was not what was intended), which left only the green beans as edible(and seriously how many green beans can one person eat?). The chicken eggplant was dry and pretty tasteless and this for me is one of their signature dishes. I was truly disappointed. Unfortunately I think they have lost a customer, which makes me very sad.

What a wonderful lunch! Perfect service, nice ambiance, and delicious! I had the lunch special, which includes appetizer and salad. I had veggie spring rolls. Accompanied by red curry chicken, wild rice, and house salad. This is one of the best in Marin! You must try it!

I have eaten here a few times, and today I got some food to go and it was soooo good. I have gotten thai to go from a few places around town and it never seems as good. This was delicious. I got the lunch special spicy basil with beef, mixed grains, and spring rolls. Everything was perfect. The service is also great when eating in the restaurant. Nice atmosphere.

The staff is nice, the space is cute but the food is just eh. Definitely not four stars. Overcooked meat and noodles, but the flavors were ok. I probably wouldn’t come back.

A hidden gem in San Anselmo! Great Thai food! My friend stayed in Thailand for some time and loved the food here! Much Mahalo to Neil and her team!

Flat. Lifeless Thai food. Everything we had was mediocre at best. Faceless service even when we were only one of three tables in the place. Odd tasting oil on the fried food. Never going back.

How can you review a restaurant where the owner is super nice, but there were several big problems with the food and other stomach-turning factors? I have indulged in Thai food all over California, and was looking forward to a good takeout meal. The pluses: the owner was friendly and great. It is a family run business. The pad thai was okay. The negatives: there were dirty dishes sitting in a tray in full view of the register. That alone was a turn off. The plantains were clearly fried in old oil, that tasted of other meats, and were disgusting. I threw them out. So disappointing.

I ordered Tom yum noodle soup and my bf got jungle lamb. It was ok. I just think it’s over price. My bf’s dish was $ 16, mine was $ 12. For what I got it wasn’t worth it. Nice place though.

Drove by this place but never actually went in untill today. One of my best decisions. What a find! Had the chu chii prawns and fried chicken fried rice. The best sauces handsdown. The coconut milk in the chu chii was as tasty as when I was on vacation in Thailand– no joke. Will definately be back to try the rest of the menu.

I was driving around San Anselmo and needed to pick up some lunch. I pulled into a parking lot, so that I could do some Unilocal research on my iPhone. Lucky for me, I pulled into the parking lot for Auryn and saw that they got good reviews. I ordered the pad thai and curry turnovers to go, so I cannot review service. Both of these dishes were pretty good. My only real complaint is they did not put utensils in the bag(and I had intended to eat lunch in the car while I waited for my son to finish his baseball game), which meant that the pad thai noodles were pretty stuck together by the time I ate it(around one hour later). I did eat the curry turnovers while they were warm. They were very good, but a little bit on the dry side. It is served with a cucumber salad, but a nice dipping sauce may have helped. Overall, this place served pretty good Thai food and is worth a visit. I intend to try it again when I am in the neighborhood.

Found the food to be fine, but not special. The service was pleasant, the food was fresh, but nothing stood out as memorable.

This place rocks! First time I ever had Thai Iced Tea. Oh man! That is delicious! It’s like a creamy, orange look, Thai flavor extremely good refreshing drink and no alcohol. I didn’t need any alcohol since I was at the wineries all day anyway ;) Just stopped in for a soup since it was a bit chilly(65 degrees in Cali is chilly) so I had the beef noodle with some veggies. It could of fed all 3 of us! HUGE! Not complaining though! Very good!
