Yo Plateau

Cute little place. Pretty standard for Fro yo. I thought the texture and flavors were good, if not outstanding. Menchie’s still seems to have the best quality fro yo and deepest selection of flavors than most other fro yo places around.
I like that this one is non-​chain though and clearly a neighborhood stop spot. Main reason why it received 3 not 4 stars is because they seem to be inconsistently open. Hopefully, they hire more help and give us more than one choice of fro yo on the plateau.

Good selection and great froyo. Only thing that is terrible is that they don’t keep the hours they have posted! Went there on a weekend at 8:30 and they were already closed! Very disappointed :-(

this is our new hangout for special dessert occasions for our 9 y/​o boy. Well run store with great flavors. Very supportive of elementary schools in the area. Can’t say enough positive things about this establishment.

They have a giant selection of flavors and toppings. The staff are very nice and helpful. Every flavor is amazingly good it made me change the way I think about frozen yogurt. I would recommend if you want to try frozen yogurt for the first time.

I worked at Red Mango and this froyo is definitely better tasting than Red Mango’s. Very very creamy! There was a large variety of flavors and toppings! (And I’m a huge icecream foodie)

Yo Plateau is by far the best yogurt place ever. They always have wonderful flavors, and the best toppings. They have deals everyday on Facebook, and even a punch card. The place is very clean, and open late. I will never have yogurt anywhere else!

We love Yo Plateau!!! Great frozen yogurt!!! They have dessert flavors like cake batter and red velvet which are awesome and the standard chocolate and vanilla. There are many varieties of toppings from fruit to chocolate peanut butter cups! It’s very reasonably priced too.

Good yogurt and topping choices. Most of the flavors are good. A couple of them (e.g Sorbet) can be on the sweeter side. A wide variety of toppings including nuts, fruits and candies ensure there is something for everyone.

Love the watermelon sorbet! Great customer service. Lots of toppings.

Met Manager at booth at Sammamish fair. He was not very happy to be there… If you have someone represent your business, make sure they are happy people and happy to be doing a promotion. Sorry but a turn off. We recently tried the shop and it was outstanding! Although it was filled with grade school and young kids on a busy Friday night and had an R rated cartoon playing. Family guy. Not an ideal choice for the crowd. We are a little leniant with this but some parents were unhappy. It is an in appropriate show. Direct feedback — maybe it will help make the sammamish yogurt shop even better.

Self serve yogurt with 12 yogurt flavor choices and lots and lots of topping choices. I had the cake batter, which was delicious. The only thing I was disappointed about was the lack of fresh fruit choices. I’m sure it changes based on the season, but when I was there, there was only kiwi, strawberry and maybe one other fruit choice. With that said, I was sad when I looked down and my bowl was empty.

It made 5 whiny kids happy and quiet for over an hour… That’s a win regardless of what they served. It could have been pet food for all i cared :) Hella cheap too.

When Yo Plateau opened, my kids were very excited, and rightfully so! The store is designed well so you aren’t tripping over the next person. It is artfully decorated and at the moment (Autumn), they are decorated for the season. Their Community Wall is set up in a location where you may actually see what is going on and there is a TV and games to distract those who may be there alone, or have finished their yogurt before everyone else. :-) As for the yogurt, it is really good! Much better than the other three similar shops that have recently popped up nearby. We love the variety of toppings and pile ‘em high! There is a rewards punch card program, so after a certain amount of purchases, you get a yogurt free. We’re fans and will be back again soon!

I’ve tried other yogurt shops all over the greater Seattle area and none compare to this place.
Great flavor choices, 100 amazing toppings, casual & relaxing environment and friendly service make this place a WINNER in my book.
It’s a refreshing, healthy change to the ice cream shops around town and although you can tell it’s yogurt… it’s done in such a tasteful way that you will enjoy it just as much, if not more!
This place is about the same price as Cold Stone (based on weight, not toppings) but because you will feel better about yourself, you don’t mind splurging a bit.

I’ve tried every «fro yo» place around, but nothing I have found compares to Yo Plateau. The variety of flavors is great, the texture is perfect, the selection of toppings is UNMATCHED and always rotating. The staff is always friendly and they contribute to a great environment to hang out.

Always busy, always nice, always full of great ingredients and flavors. Pretty awesome for a place that is walking distance from my house.
I love this place. With all the froyo places opening up in the area and my debilitating lactose intolerance (i’ll leave it at that), this place serves up the goods that I can enjoy without excruciating pain later on.
I have to exercise willpower when I’m at home, trying not to wander down to Yo Plateau and eat my body weight in yogurt and marshmallows. This place is delicious!

I absolutely love this place and we frequent this place very often. They have a pretty good selection of froyo. I always forget that I could sample them before picking them out so I always just end up getting a little bit of everything in my cup. The thing is, I always forget which is which while I’m eating. I love how they have a large selection of toppings. This place is similar to Blissberri but better :). Will definitely come back for more!

Pretty much exactly like menchies, but with more flavor rotation. Loved all the TONS of toppings, sauces, fruits/​nuts. It was yummy!
SUPER clean as well!

My kids love this place. Overall, it’s a good value for what you get and the product tastes good, not like some of the other crappy, granola and grape nut stuff that I’ve had since moving to Washington.
There IS a large seating area, but it’s usually filled with high-​school kids doing their homework or little kids running around, jumping on stuff and rubbing their sticky hands on things. It’s the Plateau, so I can’t really complain, but I wouldn’t describe it as a relaxing «hangout place» if you’re over 16.
We go back regularly and will continue to do so. Good dessert, good price and only option makes this a win-​win for us :-D

I am a fan of frozen yogurt and am an even bigger fan of DIY yogurt shops… I have to say — Holy smokes — this place is FANTASTIC! I think perhaps the best yogurt around.
The banana frozen yogurt here is SO scrumptious I dream about it. The yogurt is creamy and cold (some yogurt places do not have very cold yogurt — so gross!) They even have a daily sorbet flavor for those of us who prefer nondairy items.
The toppings are always plentiful and fresh, and there is always a wide variety of them — anything from coconut, fresh fruit, candy, nuts, sauces, whipped cream, even cereal.
After you get your yogurt, you can relax in the seating area. Watch a little TV, perhaps you’ll even want to play a game (provided by Yo Plateau) with your dining companion. Connect 4 anyone? Maybe Jenga?
The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is the yogurt /​toppings area is quite small. There isn’t much room to maneuver if there are say, more then 5 people getting yogurt. This place is hopping and can get busy at times. I think it’s best to stick to the off hours (not directly after church, lunch, or dinner).
