I have been incredibly frustrated with my experience here. I recently moved to Salt Lake City and transferred here from my old allergist. At my first appointment, I was told that my shots would either be sent from my old office(I talked to the old office, and they were more than happy to do so) or they would use my info to reformulate my shots, and they would be ready the next time I came in. By the next time I came in, I was really suffering from my allergies. When I arrived, I asked for my shots; no one knew anything about them. They just forgot/didn’t bother to take care if them. By the time they did bother to take care of it, they said they had to weaken my doses since it had been so long since my last shots – which, of course, was their fault. The doses they gave me were so weak, they didn’t help my allergies at ALL, whereas at my old office, my shots greatly improved my symptoms every time. I have begged them to make my doses stronger, and they have refused every time. I came back 3 weeks later to get shots since I work almost every day, and they weakened my shot doses AGAIN! And again, I begged them not to, since they were already far too weak. But they told me it’s «just their protocol» and would not keep them stronger despite me insisting that is what I needed to feel better again. The doctor is very friendly and helpful, but much of the staff has been frigid and unhelpful to me. Many times I have asked a question or made a request, told I’d be given an answer, and then have been forgotten about – especially by the nurse with the tattoo on the back of her neck. I wish that they would be more flexible in working with what I need, but my allergies haven’t been this bad in almost 2 years. It is such a hassle, but if I can, I’ll definitely be trying to switch to a different office that is more willing to listen to me, since I’ve been getting shots for years and know exactly what I need to feel well again.

Dr. Chenworth is great and genuinely cares for his patients. He almost always say hello if you’re in the waiting room, whether or not you have an appointment, and asks how you’re doing. He listens to your concerns and addresses them and also works with you to create a treatment plan that works for you. The medical assistants are great too. They all make you feel welcome and make the immunotherapy injections almost fun. Appointment reminders are great as they give the option of getting a text or a call. You can also pay your bill at the counter which is very convenient especially while you’re waiting for a shot.
