The Tooth Doctor

Dr. Loosli and his staff are wonderful. I can’t say that I ever enjoy going to the dentist, but they certainly make it as good an experience as possible.

Dt. Loosli is the type of kind and gentle dentist we’re all looking for. He’s great with my kids too!

My first experience with them was when I had a long, lingering cold. Figuring it might be a repeat of an abscess I had years prior, I went into check that out and if that was the case, to get a scrip for some amoxi and then schedule a time for more agony. After a few x-​rays, the doctor quickly confirmed that wasn’t the case and we talked about a time to do some further work, which I quickly forgot about and never scheduled.
Teeth are somewhat of my own nemesis and a good half the time or more, I think there should be a law of some kind, particularly if they get achy and otherwise disintegrate due to the actions of some very inconsiderate bacteria voiding themselves to and fro, hither and yon in there. Then there is the times when the teeth will not necessarily be rotten, but will be structurally weakened enough to shatter, such as one did on me at work some years ago. So, I needed a immediate visit and I was able to get in fast and get a temporary filling that was to last a couple weeks, the plan being that I would come in at that time and get a cap or crown or something fitted, I forget which now.
The temporary filling wound up going a good 5 to 6 years, though in hindsight, I probably should have gotten it fixed fully before continuing to use it normally as I did, which eventually drove the temporary filling further into the tooth and cracked it to the point where it was not repairable. Whooops. Still, the demeanor of this dentist was pretty good and there’s no question he does good work. The technology wasn’t as up to date as quite a few of the other offices I’d been in (can’t say for sure about now) and the front office staff was kind of a pain to deal with, but the dentist and assistants were on the money.
