Out of This World Dentistry and Orthodontics

Love this pediatric dentistry office! We’ve visited our fair share of pediatric dentists because we moved a lot in the last 5 years. Then, we fell fore a very popular pediatric dentist office just down the street from here (won’t say the name but they lure you in with giving you gift cards every time you check in, and bribe your kids with bright red capes). We had a really, really bad experience in this other popular place. Then, the same day we had our bad experience and my son was traumatized by this, I called around a few other places and this was the only office who would take us in on a Friday at 4:55pm. That meant a lot to me, because you don’t want to wait out a bad toothache, especially after a bad experience. Still, I held off on leaving my review until I get at least 3 visits to this office. I am happy to report that these doctors ROCK! They were so gentle with my traumatized 5-​year-​old who literally tried to wrestle his way out. The doctor was really patient and very quick when he saw that small 10-​second window to fix what he needed to fix. We were very grateful for the attention received and the extra 30 minutes that my son needed to get comfortable with the dentist, for the 1-​minute procedure.
We have been back for a small cavity filling and our regular cleaning appointments for our kids. My son has progressively gotten better and now he gets happy when we say he’s going to the dentist. He told me he «loves» getting his teeth brushed with the «special brush the dentist has that makes noise». My 3-​year-​old goes in all by herself too (like my son) and we just wait outside. My husband and I don’t even cringe anymore when we think of taking them to the dentist! It’s become this positive experience for them and they both leave happy and with clean teeth. I am beyond thankful for Dr. Lin, our regular dentist, and Dr. Stark, who was so patient when receiving my son for the first time.
I must add that location is great for this office (just off Highland Dr and with a big parking lot!) and that the waiting room is not crowded at all. They also have video games available in the waiting area so tense kids can relax before going inside. Of course, the usual TV on the ceiling and headphones are a must when the kids are laying down on that big chair. They love it!
