Disrespectful grounds crew and non responsive Superintendent to complaints of confrontation and verbal assault. I was unable to finish my round after pissed off grounds crewman confronted me for being in his way.

Best golf course in Utah! We play there on a regular and consistent basis and we have never been disappointed. The staff in the pro shop and café are friendly and accomidating. There are no hidden hazards or surprises on the course and the nearby hills and mountains are breathtaking.

Summary: — Course in good condition — Fast pace of play Explanation: Played this course on Labor Day. Overall, it was a good 18 holes. The course management schedules groups very well so their is a consistent pace of play with very little wait time — we had very few times where we were waiting for anyone. We finished the 18 holes in 4 hours(a half hour earlier than what is standard). The course is in very good condition, especially for a county course. It has been taken care of very well; however, it doesn’t meet Murray Parkway’s standards, which is why this review doesn’t get 5 stars. Keep this course on your list of courses to play. We’ll be coming back.

It is a fun course. I played on a Saturday at 11:00 am and had no wait and nobody pushing behind us on the mountain course. The course was in pretty good shape. Some fun holes, i think the longest was 400 yrds. I will say after playing Wasatch Mountain’s mountain course I was a little disappointed in Mountain Dell. The first 9 holes i honestly didn’t feel like i was on a mountain course. That being said i would probably go back if i could get cheaper rates. It was not worth $ 49 for 18. If they have a night time rate, play then!

Be careful on the lake course! Always in great condition and tee times are easy to get. SLC corp owned and a great value.

Mountain Dell is really a stunning place to play golf. It’s a public course(owned by the Salt Lake City Golf Division), but it looks, feels and plays like a country club. Mountain Dell is actually two courses in one. There is the Lake Course and the Mountain Course. I’ve played both and love them both. The Mountain Course is more hilly and I think more beautiful. There are lots of trees and canyons and other natural obstacles. The Lake course is also very scenic and last time I played it, I saw a MOOSE! A real-live moose was standing in one of the ponds, getting a drink! That was pretty sweet, if not completely terrifying. This thing must have weighed as much as a smart car. Both courses are very challenging and, in many spots, completely unforgiving. Take extra balls and fasten your seatbelts.

This course is generally in great condition and offers various difficulty levels of holes. Just make sure you are planning on renting a cart because if not it is a long walk. Course Tip: Hit it straight
