Mobile Electrionics Repair

Three things that I loved about this place: they were honest, polite, and gave me a quick diagnostic. My Playstation 3 suddenly died mid-​movie, and knowing zilch about electronics, it would have been easy for some swindler to take advantage of my naïveté and talk me into excessive repairs. I dropped off my PS3 to Mobile Electronics Repair and paid a $ 20 diagnostic fee upfront. When my machine stopped working it had a rented video game in it, and the $ 20 included removing that, which saved me from having to purchase the game from the rental place. I received a call from them a few hours later saying they could fix my PS3 for $ 100 (and they would apply the upfront fee toward that). The guy I spoke with was straightforward and acknowledged that the PS3 might have a decent amount of life in it if we repaired it, but that he had seen the model I have encounter continual problems even after being repaired. I asked his advice and he said, «Frankly, if it were me, I’d buy a new PS3.» I really appreciated his honest advice, especially since it meant losing out on money for him! To do the diagnosis he had had to take apart the whole machine, and when I went back to get it he had put it all back together, thanked me for coming in, and gave me a sincere «Have a nice day.» I trust this place and will definitely be giving them my business when issues with my electronics arise in the future!
