Maverik Country Store

Busy little store but customers look like they might riot at any minute. Prices seemingly high and cleanliness isn’t a management priority.

I can confirm, always some sort of smoker’s convention going on at the doors or at a table just north of the store. There’s often a gas pump or two out of order… totally irritating. As stated in other review, store is very disheveled… could easily be better organized. Overall, I would say worst maverik in town.

This is the closest convience store to my house, yet I am going to pass by it everytime. I have never felt comfortable in the parking lot, day or night. There is always a gorup in front of the door smoking or just hanging out (usually it is employess and their friends).The extra parking on the south side makes it easier to park, but will I get mugged on my way into the store?
Last night I came over about 10. They had 2 cashiers when I walked in. After I got my sprite and went to the counter one of them had disappeared. He was in the cigarette section behind the counter. He looked up, saw 2 people in line and walekd off towards the back. Soon there was 6 people in line and the one workign cashier stepped away from the counter to talk to 2 firends and a delivery guy. At least I know who is more imprtant.
The store always looks cluttered almost like things do not have places. I never spend much time in a convience store anyway, but it would be nice for things to be orederly.
I think I will got to Hoilday Oil of 7 – 11 down the street for now on!
