Dr. Mark Scholl is nothing short of exceptional. I went to Dr. Scholl to have a large quantity of surgical steel removed from my shoulder and elbow that had become extremely uncomfortable. Complicating matters is the fact that I have chronic Lyme disease, which causes me to have a lot of inflammation and fatigue. I was very pleased that Dr. Scholl took this condition seriously, and we worked together to determine the best course of action for my hardware removal. You will find Dr. Scholl to be highly knowledgeable, as well as thorough in explaining how your body works, and what your options are. He is a careful and attentive listener; while many surgeons don’t take the time to listen carefully to the patient, I was impressed that Dr. Scholl took all the time necessary to gather information and develop a strategy with me. It is worth adding here that Dr. Scholl – unlike other surgeons I have worked with – is approachable, affable, and clearly cares deeply about the wellbeing of his patients. As regards my surgery, my shoulder outcome was outstanding. Although my elbow has had some post-​op complications, this is largely due to chronic swelling from the Lyme. Dr. Scholl has continued to work with me to find solutions that will resolve the issue. I recommend Dr. Scholl without reservation. He is an exceptional, resourceful surgeon, and what’s more – a thoughtful, caring healer.

Dr Scholl is the best! I seriously would not trust anyone else with my knees or my shoulder. He is the best surgeon you will find. I wasted time at two other orthopedic offices before I finally found someone who knew what was actually happening with my knees. Dr Scholl reads his own MRIs and Xrays unlike the other sports med guys and he is just really knowledgeable in general. His office will always get you in when you need it too so you dont have to wait three weeks for an xray somewhere just to be told you need to wait six months to have surgery. Instead he got me back up to speed super fast and its been great!
