Waited over an hour for our food, 30 minutes for drinks. It was Cinco de Mayo with one waitress working. They should have expected a small rush of people, the food was mediocre, and that’s an exaggeration. If you come across this place do yourself a favor and don’t, take the 5minute drive to El Paisa Grill. They have much better food and service.

I’ve been here three times and have always found the food and service to be excellent. It is never busy on the weekday evenings I find myself in Salt Lake City. I recommend it.

If you are anything other than Hispanic DO NOT COME HERE! My family and I came here for a late lunch. We were sat fairly quickly, how ever, that was about the only thing fast about it… After we sat down two other tables sat after us they received their drinks AND food before we were served our drinks, after we ordered our food which took for ever, I received my ceviche con camaron there was two different colors of shrimp! Pink and raw! Gross! I picked up my plate and approached a guy who I assume was the manager and showed him the two different color shrimp to which he said that they shrimp are cooked in lime juice… My wife (who is from Mexico) has made ceviche before and never served RAW SHRIMP I will never come back and will spread the word that this places sucks worse than a black hole

I ordered ceviche tostadas and they had no lime what so ever what’s the point if having ceviche with no lime I asked waitress why this was she said this due to are laws bullshit I’ve been to a lot of Mexican places here in Slc and never have I heard such non sense also they take forever to bring your food

Food was delicious. Plates were big and sufficient to make your stomach feel more than satisfied! We came on Sunday, so we were able to enjoy one Norteño band and Banda LIVE while we were eating. Service was decent, not the best but not the worse. We would definitely come back :-)

Do not go here!!! My fiancé and I went to have lunch there on a Sunday afternoon, we were seated right away but took 10 minutes for them to bring our drinks. We then ordered our food I ordered some tacos and my fiancé the coctel de camarones, my tacos came in about 15 mins but my fiancé’s food literally took 40 mins and when we asked twice about it they would say they were gonna check up on it and then wouldn’t come back. The waitresses were rude and didn’t pay attention when we would nicely ask for something. And after all the waiting the food had NO favor. If you are looking to try a good meal with great service DO NOT GO HERE!

Great restaurant! Great food!!! Great service!!! My favorite dish was the molcajete! Combination of meat chicken and shrimp can’t go wrong with that!!!
