Bought a Makita roto /chipping hammer from them several years ago to the tune of $ 605.00. I’m a contractor and the tool had light use during it’s short life. I was using it to chip some loose concrete off a wall one day and smoke started pouring out of the motor. I took it in for«repair» and left it. They called a few days later, said it was good to go, $ 50.00 charge. Next time I went to use it I fired it up and within a minute or two same thing, smoke pouring out of the motor. Took it back they said the armature was bad, several hundred dollars to replace. No offer to refund my money for a repair that obviously was not diagnosed correctly. At that point I decided to get a new Bosch online, I didn’t want to risk fixing something for near the cost of a brand new machine that had a warranty. They are also an authorized Milwaukee repair shop, I took a 12v hackzall in for repair. It was still under warranty(less than a year old), they wanted $ 50 dollars to look at it(the tool is less than 100 bucks new). I said it should be warrantied and was told(with attitude) Milwaukee tools are not covered for«normal wear and tear». So I guess if you own Milwaukee tools and use them the warranty is worthless. This review is based on my experiences with trying to get tools repaired, I do think the showroom is nice and they do have a lot of stuff on display but after dealing with the service /repair end of things I am buying elsewhere.

To start off I have never been to the store. I have done my business with this company«online». My first order last year took along time to receive, not sure exactly the time frame. My current order I place on march 31, it is now april 15 and I just received word my order has shipped. This order was very simple, a saw blade and vacuum bags. They should notify the customer of any shipping delays. I hope to see my order soon.

I gave them my dewalt scroll saw to fix. Josh the manager started slinging it around by the arm. If he works at a Machine Repair place he should know that, that’s a big problem. After arguing with him and threatening never to come back, have gave me a 33% discount on the job to fix it. Well it came back to me and the arm was so stiff that I couldn’t use it. I sent it back in and they said a piece of wood was jammed in the arm. I didn’t do it, it came back to me that way. Well they charged me 41.00 to remove the piece of wood that they left in there. I guess they got back their 33% discount. And along the way they lost my tool, they gave me huge attitude. Josh !!! I will NEVER come back to your store again. Screw me once, your fault, screw me twice, our fault. Screw me three times??? Not going to happen. Don’t Go Here, they are thieves and liars…

This place ripped me off, then accused me of lying. Brought my Bosch reciprocating saw for them to repair a broken chuck for around $ 60. The FIRST time I tried using the saw again after picking it up, the brand new chuck fell apart into pieces. I took it back to them to tell them what happened and the owner starts getting in my face, saying they had fixed it properly. «Are you calling my repair-tech a liar?» And asks me to leave the store. I had been very polite and unassuming when I walked in the door. I was fuming as I left. Hard to recall ever having been treated worse at a business. Everyone needs to know what kind of people these guys are. *footnote: Took my still broken saw down to A-1 Industrial Tools and Service who fixed it for free after hearing my story about M&M.(It just needed proper assembly with a special tool, which he did on the spot.) The guy there told me it was definitely not the first time he had heard such a tale about those guys over there.
