I am always looking for a good taco. I tried the Al Pastor taco and soapes. The meat was delicious, tender and not fatty. The soapes was great, It had beans and cheese and meat on top. I have not been to a stand that has ever had this as an option. You can not beat the price. I almost forgot the red sauce is really hott. The gentlemen was really nice and helpful. The location is great(200 E 300 S., open until 8pm) I will be going back and trying other items.

Was having my car inspected across the street at the Firestone Car Care Center and decided to try out this food cart. I’m vp very glad I didn’t! The bean and cheese Sopes were great and so were the pork and chicken tacos. Beat I’ve ever had! Highly recommended. Very friendly owner and great customer service. I’ll definitely be making out of the way trips for more great food from this cart.

Nice employees, great tacos and burritos, great location(200 east 300 south). Go on Wednesdays and Fridays to get a dollar off the burrito. In the summer, I would rather pay $ 3 for a great meal from here than $ 10 – 15 from surrounding locales.

Great cart in a convenient location downtown because I drive past it on my way to work every day. On my way to work I needed lunch and had driven past it all the time. Of course I drove past it then regretted it and turned around. The guy was very nice, not very good english. I asked what was good and he referred me to a customer who obviously visited frequently. She suggested the carne asada but they were out so she suggested the chile verde. I went with that and it was tasty. On top of that it was Friday, and their special was $ 2 burritos! Can’t beat that! Of course they had a cooler with various sauces and pico de gallo and whatnot. I should have gotten two burritos but I didn’t wanna feel like a fatty. The previous mention of mission tortillas couldn’t be more wrong as I watched him pull out a huge tortilla freshly made and warmed it on the grill. At first as I watched him put in the meat I thought there wasn’t enough but as I ate it it was plenty. Overall it was delicious and I’d come again on my way to work, especially $ 2 burrito Fridays!

I am ADDICTED to this cart. When I lived nearby I’d eat there once a week, at least. I think what does it for me is their homemade salsa. I’ve only ever had one thing there — bean, rice and cheese burrito. The beans are a bit bland, but the cooler with three types of homemade salsa, sour cream in a squirt bottle, limes, cilantro, onions, and all the rest of the fixings make that burrito a piece of HEAVEN. As the other reviewer stated, they make their own corn tortillas, which are amazing. Tell them you want a ‘mini quesadilla’ on the corn tortillas. I usuallly get one or two of those with my burrito. It’s calling me like a siren’s song… I must go there for lunch today.

I’ve been here 2 times, and as far as taco carts go, it’s just OK. They do make their own corn tortillas. On my first trip they were made to order(big plus), but this time they were pre-made. Their asada is pretty salty, but it is missing the fatty, chewy chunks so often found in Taco Cart Asada. Don’t think that the«handmade tortilla goodness» carries over to the flour tortillas. When I ordered a burrito, they whipped out good ol’ Mission Tortillas(or could it be I am actually über-authentic for taco tuesday at home? hmmm) On my 2nd trip there they were out of bread for the tortas, but it was after 1pm, so if you want a torta, get there early. All in all, this is a decent cart. There are better in the city, but if you’re near the library and jonesin for a taco or torta, give them a shot.
