I’ve had plenty of LC pizzas in my lifetime. They are always hit or miss. After having not had LC in a long, long time, the Pretzel Pizza brought me back. Somehow their marketing completely missed me as I didn’t know it existed until about a month after it had launched. I saw a friends picture of it though and had to try it, so I buckled up and drove over to my nearest Little Caesars. We got there and were happy to see no line. Unfortunately it was a little late, so they didn’t have the Pretzel hot and ready. We were told a 15 – 20 minute wait would be needed, so we agreed to that, paid for our pizza, and even put it in a combo with some bread sticks and a 2 liter soda. The wait was about 15 minutes, which was expected. Just before ours was ready they were giving another guy his pizza. He asked for his bread sticks and they questioned him on if he had even bought the bread sticks. After arguing back and forth they finally went and looked up his order. Sure enough, bread sticks were on it. They apologized and gave them to him. Then I went up, got my pizza, and asked for my bread sticks. Same argument as before occurred. They began to look it up as I began to pull up my mobile banking to show them the charge. They finally agreed to release my crazy sticks to me. With our pizza, sticks, and drink in hand we began to leave. Then the girl yelled to my girlfriend that she needed to pay for the soda in her hand. We turned around, explained to her that we had already paid for that and that she had just looked up the amount we had paid, and she agreed to let us go. I don’t get what’s going on here. I felt like I was a bread stick and soda stealing criminal, and I’m sure I’m not the only one that felt that way. Their employees could use a little more training on how to be polite as well as how to give customers what they ordered. The pretzel pizza was actually really good though, much better than a typical LC pizza, and the cost was good as well. I’m sure this location has just as high of a turnaround on employees as any other food place, so I’ll wait a little bit before coming back.

Wow– the first to write a review of a Little Caesars location. Even though I’m a thirty-something, I’d never had LC pizza. So, on a whim, needing some quick takeout, I stopped by the location on 500 South to grab two«Hot ‘n Ready» pizzas at about 9 p.m., a pepperoni and a cheese. After all, they’re only $ 5! My pizza was the pepperoni. And I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of sauce, with good italian seasoning flavor, full flavor cheese, and a nicely baked crust. The pepperonis were pretty sparse, but nicely crispy on the top of the pie. My wife’s cheese pizza, though, was kind of disappointing. There was less sauce, the cheese had congealed more, and there seemed to be much less flavor. I guess it was just a freshness thing(though my pizza box was marked«6» and hers was marked«8» — I guess they use a special code to keep people guessing). The teenager who ran the counter was extremely friendly(he may have had one too many Red Bulls at work), and the pizzas were truly hot and ready for me to take immediately. And even though the location is right on the Trax line, there’s a stoplight on 1100 E, so you can easily turn in and get out of their small parking lot. In my mind, I thought that LC’s had a reputation for being one of the worst carry out /delivery pizza chains. But I was impressed by the flavor and freshness of my pepperoni pizza(especially for $ 5!!). Too bad the cheese didn’t live up to the pepperoni, or it might be a regular stop home.
