I needed to get some candy to make gingerbread houses. I searched«candy» and ran onto a local treasure. I am sad I didn’t know about this place before but so glad I found it. Staff is friendly and conversational. I would like to see more candy, but the candy they have here is so hard to find anywhere else that it makes up in quality what they lack in quantity. This is the epitome of a fun, stylish, unique, locally run store that gives personality to Salt Lake City.

Frosty Darling is one of me and my kids’ favorite little shops on Broadway. In the summers we love to walk down 300 south and browse the stores. The window displays at FD are what caught my eye and brought us in. Gorgeous and always creative! I love the little baubles and trinkets sold here. My kids like the old fashioned candies. It’s just a fun store with a lot of charm, definitely worth a visit.

This is the cutest store I have ever seen in my life. I discovered this shop when I was on vacation in Salt Lake City. Every single detail about the store is vintage retro perfection… from the carousel outside, the vintage phone booth and old school candy counter inside, to the art hanging on the walls. Most of the items are local, handmade and made in Utah. It is an Etsy-lover’s dream come to life. I bought hilarious stationary and cards here. I had to restrain myself from buying more. I wish this store was in NYC. I’m sure it would be one of the most popular shops in town.

This is a cute little store in downtown SLC. It’s got a mix of reasonably priced vintage items, some handmade jewels and screenprints by Lara Bell. I’m still sorta kicking myself for not getting the sea turtle screenprint for $ 50 cause it was really cute. Check this place out if you’re in the area.
