Great place for basketball games, concerts, and other events. We can usually find close parking. Many places to eat inside. Decent bathrooms. Friendly employees. Jazz apparel and souvenir shops. Security is good but there are many beggars around the neighborhood. We’ve had a few issues with their ticket office.

Over 27, 0000 attendees at the doterra conference! You have a good view of stage and big screens at pretty much any seat. There are a few sections that don’t get the air as well, section bb is one! I would definitely attend other events here. Lots of hotels within walking distance and a free Trax service runs right by the arena! Seats are pretty comfortable, even at 3 – 4 hour sitting periods. SLC is a beautiful city with a ton of old historical buildings all around the arena for your viewing pleasure! Also a ton of restaurants within walking distance!

Absolutely incredible for Bob Seger. Crazier than crazy for Ed Sheeran. Professional staff. Great venue!

Great fun for a Jazz game, even two rows from the top. So much better than some of the other pro basketball teams, as the Jazz seem to always have some fun games and decent giveaways. Cool halftime show with the Dunk Team… even if they’re out of the playoffs.

Nothing to complain about! Jumbotron is enormous so even the nosebleeds have a great view. Lots of stations for snacks, drinks, and beer making long lines a thing of the past.

I came here to see Journey for a private event. It certainly isn’t Staples and all the fancy frills they provide, but it was decent. Not sure what it is about arena’s and sketchy part of town, but the same is true here. In general, SLC is super clean, but this was the first time I thought– ‘Um, the ski bums look scruffier than usual. Hmm, oh, why are they asking me for a dollar?”(I found out later, this is a homeless shelter here and high drug activity.) Be aware.

Had a great time at the Jazz game. This is a pretty nice arena with a lot to do. We had a table at the Coors lounge and got to eat a pretty delicious meal. The Jazz team put on a great show and definitely keep you enertained!

Every year the piano guys would come down and do a performance for the home town folks. They have world tours and it’s awesome nice to see their talents live in person. Go check them out of youtube, Piano guys. The way you think about cellos will change forever!!!

James H thinks he can check in more times than anyone else. Challenge accepted. Oh, and the Jazz are not very good this year.

Energy Solutions Arena is home to the Utah Jazz basketball team, and the sole reason I’ve visited many times over the years. I’ve sat in many different sections and rows, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience no matter how close or far away I happen to be. If you’re hungry, there are many different concession stand options that aren’t going to amaze you in any way, but will serve their duty in feeding a hungry belly. With large venues comes large prices for basic items. Beer is almost $ 9/each, but there are a few more options than just your standard Bud Light and Budweiser. It would be more convenient if they provided wristbands so one wouldn’t need to pull out their ID for every refill, but I guess they haven’t caught on to that efficient trend.

The venue is fine and obviously suited to host huge amounts of people. The rows, portals, and seats are all clearly marked. Of the many places I’ve sat at ESA, my least favorite is the 1st row of the upper bowl because the spacing to the nearby wall is such that you have to lean forward to gain an unobstructed view.

Not one of my favorite venues for concerts the sound is to loud and if you have upper bowl seats it can be hard to see, plus if your afraid of heights(like me) you get a little dizzy, maybe it’s lack of oxygen way up their who knows. I did just see Katy perry their the other night and she really made great use of the arena and the sound wasn’t to horrible, my only complaint is the screaming teenagers standing on the chairs in front of me…

Went here for an Awards night ceremony for a few nights during a convention. Sadly, not all food places inside were open and just one particular one. I’ve expected everything to be overpriced so I wasn’t really surprised. Parking across was the $ 3 lot but since it was a convention event, you need an «Event Pass» to park there which I find pretty stupid. So we parked at the $ 1 which was less than a mile walk so it wasn’t that bad. This place is pretty huge too and had an overall good experience during my convention time.

This was a great venue for my big bro’s college graduation. We found free parking down the street, the snack bar was open, which was good because we hadn’t eaten breakfast, and we had good seats for the event. Overall, a good experience!

This is a wonderful event stadium. I am currently hear watching the final game for the FIFA World Cup. I am ready glad that there are places in the salt lake valley that host free events like this for the community.

Three reasons to go to Energy Solutions Arena: 1. When you hear the words, «Stockton to Malone!» you get the chills. 2. You’re bald and you want the Jazz Bear to rub your head for good luck. 3. You’re a bandwagon Lakers/Heat fan ’cause you don’t think it’s cool to root for the home team and you wanna piss off the Jazz Nation when«your» team comes to town. I could never forget Energy Solutions Arena(ESA) but she’ll always be the Delta Center to me. On her court, I’ve witnessed the best basketball these eyes will ever behold. I ran out of voice volume during Game 4 of the 1997NBA Finals when the Jazz defeated the Bulls. My smile was too wide for my face that night. In the glorious riot that ensued afterward, I think I helped flip a police car and I also stole a sign that said«TRYOURDELICIOUSSALADBAR» that hangs proudly on my shed to this day. Thank heavens for the statute of limitations. To those who lived during the golden era of Stockton and Malone, the ESA is a cathedral of the glory days. Jazz games remain fun and exciting but there is still a reverence felt here by those who yearn for times of past. Her walls built by the unstoppable force of #12& #32, not to mention legends the like of Sloan, Eaton, Hornacek, or Griffith. The echo of «Hot» Rod Hundley yelling out«Hammer Dunk! You gotta love it, baby!» while the crowd roars resonates within her. The spirit of visionary owner Larry H. Miller, who once in defense of his team’s honor, threw down in fisticuffs with an unruly fan of an opposing team, still walks these hallowed halls. To quote Bryan Adams, «Those were the best days of my life. In the Summer of ’97!*» and the ESA was a big part of those memories. You gotta love it, baby! *give or take 30 years.

Not much different from other arenas except that the VIP room is wonderful. Lots of space and actually well suited for VIP events. Extra star for that. I am; however, subtracting one star because all of the ushers seem more than a little bit confused.

Awesome venue. I have been to the executive suite to the private suites to where the Jazz VIPS mingle and service is top notch all over this venue. Even the concession stands are fast and awesome. The food in the suites is very good. Good concerts but not my favorite for acoustical.

On one hand, I really enjoyed the BYU win over Utah St at this arena a month or so ago. On the other, the Jazz are a pretty terrible team and just aren’t fun to watch. So this arena is just decent to me.

Over the years I’ve seen several games and performances at the Energy Solutions Arena(formerly the Delta Center) including Jazz basketball games, Ringling Bros. Circus, Disney on Ice(twice), and Linkin Park. In my opinion the Energy Solutions Arena isn’t an outstanding venue for anything, but instead it is perfectly adequate for most things. The acoustics aren’t great for concerts, but with some musicians earplugs that cut the distortion the sound is just fine – because honestly, you can’t expect concert hall sound from a sport’s stadium. For any performance at the Energy Solutions Arena getting good seats is a must. I definitely prefer to sit in the lower bowl, row 20 or closer and towards the middle. Of course these tickets come at a premium price but if you shop smart you can usually get good deals. For Disney on Ice having a Disney credit cards allows you to buy early and at a discount too. With the circus I get a discount for having a Chase credit card. Shopping smart has allowed me to get great seats for a good deal. If I can’t get good seats I would just as soon not go. The Energy Solutions Arena is so large that sitting in bad seats just isn’t fun for me. One of my biggest complaints about the Energy Solutions Arena is parking. I hate that there is no on-site parking and that you’re forced to park at one of the many nearby lots which charge anywhere from $ 5 – 10. I’m always concerned about the security of my car in this often unguarded lots and finally, during the winter it can be pretty cold walking to and from the car.
