We waited in the drive thru line for nearly 30 minutes. When we finally got to the menu to order we were told to wait for another 5 minutes before we could even order. We ordered half a dozen bagels, toasted with plain cream cheese. After ordering, we were told with attitude that if we wanted them toasted it would take twice as long. We said that was fine. We got to the window to pay and a girl came up and asked if we had the Asiago bagels, we said yes. She then said that they were going to be very hot and squishy so they couldn’t be toasted. Okay, whatever. At this point we just wanted our bagels. We paid for them and a kid came to the window and basically threw the bag into our car. As we drove out of the parking lot, I checked the bag to make sure all the bagels were there. What do I find? 6 bagels cut in half WITHNOCREAMCHEESE! If we hadn’t just paid for them to all have cream cheese, I wouldn’t mind, by we paid for the cream cheese! We’ve now been waiting inside for a resolution for 10 minutes. This is hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had. I most certainly will never recommend this Einsteins to anyone.

This was my first time going to this location, and it will be my last. I went on a Sunday morning through the drive thru. Let’s just say, don’t plan on getting any other kind of bagel except plain if you go to this location on a Sunday. I literally had to go through the list. I asked for Asiago cheese, Everything, Onion, Potato, Six Cheese, Pretzel, etc. and the answer was the same each time: «We’re out! It’s Sunday». So assuming that this is not your first Sunday working there, why not make more of these kinds of bagels? If I’m going to spend my money somewhere, I want what I want. And if you are out of almost every kind of bagel, why not stop me after the first 2 items I ask for and tell me what you ACTUALLYDOHAVE? It was very frustrating. «It’s Sunday!» is not an excuse. Make extra of the bagels, and if you ARE out of something, don’t make the customer ask you for every single type when you know you don’t have it. I would not suggest this location to others. They obviously don’t care about the customers.

I’ve been a customer of Einstein’s for as long as I can remember them being around. This place is not the best store they have. The last few visits I’ve made have seen a gradual downward trend. Between normally slow service, a lobby that is seemingly always in need of a sweep and tables cleaned, and a bagel bin that is usually down to the«premium» bagels only, I think I’ll make the drive to the Fort Union location next time I feel like a bagel and schmear.

My daughters favorite place to get a fruit smoothie and Asiago Bagel. The drive through staff is always super friendly and helps us in a timely manner.

So overrated and expensive. Seriously if you want a good bagel sandwich with egg and meat go make your own.

I dropped Ito this location for my first time this morning for to-go breakfast. They were really busy in the drive thru so I went inside. The manager(I’m pretty certain) was Lindi and she was awesome! Her staff made two small mistakes on orders while I was there and she handled them both gracefully and professionally, in my opinion. I would go back because of her alone. It took a long time but the food was good and our order was correct!

Be prepared to wait, because they seem to ALWAYS be busy. Bagels are their best part, obviously, the breakfast sandwiches are a little hit-or-miss(the meat and eggs are always sliding off). Haven’t tried any lunch items, and as far as coffee is concerned, go next door to Beans & Brews. Gotta say their managers are always super professional. One time, after waiting an especially long time for a sandwich, the manager gave me a coupon for a free sandwich without me even saying a word of complaint. Nice people.

I wish I knew everyone’s name who helped me out, because they deserve recognition… But anyway, I called a day in advance for 2 dozen bagels and my favorite FRESH jalapeño cream cheese. I was told that everything was going to be ready when I got here. I walked into the building at 7:20AM and I was immediately greeted, by name, with smiles and great attention. Not only a great greeting BUT my order was ready, and the lady was already making up the special cream cheese for me! This wasn’t my first time coming here, but the first time with a large order, and I have always gotten amazing customer service. I even was told«have a great day, Ellie!» when I was leaving. Amazing! Thank you guys!

I am dissapointed in the quality of the product that I purchased today. I bought an everything bagel with a plain schmear, a dutch apple bagel with a plain schmear, and a latte. My total was $ 9.75. The latte I received was not hot, just warm. The everything bagel was small and did not have very much cream cheese at all. The apple was better, but still lacking in cream cheese. This location is on my way to work, but with this quality I would have a hard time talking myself in to going again. I should mention that there is a male team member, tall with brown hair who left the lobby to go stand out front. He spit in front of my car 4 times before leaving my line of sight. I watched him wipe his mouth after doing so. Maybe he went inside to wash his hands, but still gross.

So, everything bagel are the most popular bagel so why does a place that only sells bagels seem to be out of them often? Please make a few more in the morning so I can actually have a bagel I actually want. The drive thru is super slow too.

One of my go to spots for a good quick breakfast sandwich and coffee on my commutes to work on the East Coast. Visiting the Western location did not disappoint, I enjoyed the same friendly service.

Time Wasted: 25m Einstein’s is delicious all the time, but the service is sub-par at this location. The line situation: tediously slow, and the line itself was ingeniously engineered to be as long as possible within the floor plan. Out of Everything bagels. Sigh. Also out of two flavors of coffee, sadly including the one for which I was at this crappy Einstein’s in the first place [inner dialogue]. and the employees behaved as if they hadn’t been trained on how to handle such situations. I was on the verge of insanity as I watched two female employees attempting – with torpidly minimal effort – to piece together a filter and basket, press a button, and genuinely struggle with a packet of grounds. I got my hazelnut fix, obnoxiously filling my cup while the coffee was still brewing. We were kindly offered a coupon for our next visit… but the employee took so long retrieving it that we just left.

Hmmm… this is a weird one. I’m not necessarily commenting on food quality(as all Einstein Bagels are pretty much the same) but rather the service. At every Einstein Bagels other than this one, I have gotten pretty good to fantastic service. This one, though, was a bit of a mixed bag. It really depends on who you get. For example, when I first stepped up to the cash register, I was greeted by a guy. He was very nice, very friendly, always smiling. He asked me what I wanted. I had a coupon for a buy one, get one free lunch sandwich, so I ordered two lunch sandwiches. Einstein Bagels also happened to be running a buy one, get one free promo for pumpkin flavored beverages(coffee, latte, mocha), so I decided to take advantage of this as well. Then, there was a shift break, I guess, so he stepped aside to do something else and a lady stepped in to take his place. This lady, however, was NOT so nice. In fact, she must have been having a really, REALLY bad day and/or just did not like me from the very beginning. With the other guy, I had voiced my intention to get two pumpkin flavored lattes. When this new lady stepped in, she asked me to repeat, so I repeated, and she told me that would not work. The promo is not applicable to any other flavor but plain coffee(no latte, no mocha). I’m like, «What?» It shows on the sign three distinct flavors — coffee, latte, mocha. She said she couldn’t do it. When I mentioned that the other guy said it was fine, she inquired within, probably of the manager, got the go ahead, and BEGRUDGINGLY decided to enter it into the system. So she entered in two smalls. No, but I did not want smalls. I had asked the other guy if I could compare sizes(since this was my first time ordering beverages from Einstein), and I had decided on getting the large(because it seemed more bang for the buck). So I told her I did not want smalls but larges, and she again said that that was not applicable. I AGAIN had to tell her that the other guy said it was fine. AGAIN, she felt the need to inquire within so as to corroborate my claims, and given the go ahead, she relented BEGRUDGINGLY. She must have been very bad with the register because I was just standing there looking at her fidget with the register for several minutes, trying to get the order in. Maybe it was a brain fart? FORTUNATELY, the other guy was now called back to man the register, and things eventually turned out OK. I gave him the coupon for the BOGO lunch sandwich, which he entered with no problem. I then reminded him of the pumpkin coffee special, which he said(at first to my disappointment) that he could not do that at the same time, as the system only allows input of ONE coupon per transaction. Oh, but Eureka! He had an idea! How about putting the coffee beverages on ANOTHER transaction? I’m like this guy’s a genius! Well, at least compared to the other DUNCE lady! UNFORTUNATELY, the dunce lady was now trying to make my order, and when she was done with the two lattes, she put them on the counter without saying a word. Upon realizing that those were mine, I had to just take them(which I never feel good about). While she saw that I had my hands full, she not ONCE had the decency to ask if I needed a carrier. When I asked for one, she just threw it on the counter. I then had a brain fart and couldn’t find the straws, so I asked her, albeit reluctantly. «They’re over there! Behind you!» She was not friendly about this ATALL! Just all attitude from top to bottom. Ergo, to avoid this from happening to me ever again, I have decided NEVER to go back to the Einstein Bagels in Cottonwood Heights. There are so many other ones. It’s just not worth it. PS One star for the utter failure of a lady. Another star for the smarter nice guy.

Unlike Micky D’s and their quality control most Einstein Bagels vary from place to place,(as does the service). However this particular Einsteins has been great every time we have gone there. Unlike some where it can be close to difficult to tell the difference between the doggy bagels and their regular ones, at this Einstein’s the bagels are near perfect and always look great. I would like to add that the service is always excellent with attention given to getting the order right(I mean how hard can it be, but some manage to get it wrong). One more thing that sets this location apart is it has a drive up window, which makes it nice for those who get theirs to go. Try ‘em out, you won’t be disappointed.

Let me begin by saying I LOVEBAGELS! I don’t know why but there is no better bread product then a bagel. Throw some meat and cheese on it for a sandwich or some cream cheese and bagels are just irresistibly delicious. Having said that, everyone out there should know that what Einstein Bros Bagels makes is NOT bagels. Real bagels are boiled and then baked. Einstein Bros Bagels on the other hand steams their bagels and then bakes them. This results in bagels that are much softer and don’t have the almost leather-like outside of other bagels. While this is different I don’t believe it is necessarily better or worse, just different. Whether for breakfast or for lunch Einsteins has a HUGE selection of sandwiches, salads, salads, drinks and deserts. Although they are a little pricey sometimes the food is always fresh and always tasty.
