BESTFOODTRUCKHANDSDOWN!!! I’m from AZ but when I go out to SLC I’m always looking forward to eating at Chop City! I don’t understand these other reviews this spot is ALWAYS on point! My Favorites are the Teriyaki plate and the Bacon Burger with cheesy potatoes!!! The teriyaki is very tender and I love that it comes with a variety of vegetables and the spices gives it a nice kick. The Bacon Burger is just soooo juicy and succulent I mean come on, who doesn’t Love Bacon!!! If you’re in the SLC got to try it! I mean I live in another state and if I’m in town it’s going down! Lol… Plus this truck won #1 The Best Food Truck and Peoples choice in the State. The owners are way cool down to earth guys that know how to treat their customers. If there’s a line trust it’s worth the wait! These bad reviews need to go somewhere else… lol

I can’t understand some of the bad reviews for this food truck. The bbq blt is the best sandwich I’ve had in my life! I don’t know what else to say to convince you to try this place.

Did their food truck at Murray park. I think it was pretty average. I’m not going to go brag about it any time soon. Think some more inventive recipes are needed.

I purchased the BLT and while it decent it wasn’t worth the 17 min wait and I felt it lacked bacon. I’d only go again if I’m STARVING.

I ordered the Thai Chicken and Mango Salsa plate. But it came with no mango salsa. They said they still need to update their menu(this happened to me a few months ago also). For being a food truck that is «Everything Bacon», the amount of bacon they put on my dish was kind of sad. maybe a half a strips worth of crumbles :(Over all the plate tasted good, I was just disappointed in what they say they give you.

BACONEVERYTHING?! Ohhhhh heck yes… yes, yes, yes!!! With a motto like that, it’s gotta be awesomeness, RIGHT?! Well… great concept – decent execution. I tried Chop City at the Food Truck League event earlier this week and was one of the first customers, so I had them at their prime. I asked for a recommendation, and the cashier lady said the BLT was the most popular, so I ordered it. Ohhh yes, it was YUMMY! It was definitely my favorite item at the food truck event and for $ 8, not bad! The BLT consisted of sliced tomatoes(yessssssss), lettuce, thick cut hardwood smoked BACON(droooooools), bacon onion marmalade(oh the savory sweet blessings), roasted garlic aoli(ohhh the roasted garlic was on point, Mr. Aoli), and a fried egg(ohhh the yolk was definitely oooooooozinggggggg with love) sandwiched between two perfectly toasted slices of bread that was crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside. It was a good sandwich with yummy ingredients but not exactly something I’d go out of my way to try a second time to be completely honest. Every sandwich comes with a choice of chips(small 1 oz bag) or a drink(soda/water). I asked for the mango fruit punch($ 2), which ended up costing an extra dollar on top of the meal. I wasn’t told that, but it’s not a big deal… what was a big deal is that a) it was only 4⁄5 filled up, b) was room temp with no ice, c) was just cheap overly sweet fruit punch of no merit, and d) no hints of mango anywhere. As for service, it was okay. There wasn’t much of a wait bc I was the 3rd person to order. They forgot to give me my fruit juice and handed me water instead but got it corrected pretty quickly when I told them. The cashier wrote it on the ipad but not on the paper note, but no biggie. So kids… stay away from the«mango» fruit punch but do try the BLT. I wouldn’t drive out of my way to check this food truck out, and I’d definitely not wait in line for it. Tip: They have a set menu of regular sandwiches and a few they rotate around(I.e. bacon monte cristo)…if you want to be safe, order the BLT since it is the most sold item.

Cuban was cold, bland and dry. I’ve definitely had better Cubans elsewhere in the valley. Fix those 3 things and it’s a $ 7 sandwich id buy again and again.

Some of the WORST food truck grub I have found in Salt Lake City. The food is thin, cheap, poor quality and not worth the money.

We get a lot of food trucks at work, and theres a few that I’ll always go out for. Figured I’d try this one. I got the Cubano, which I usually always love. It was average. The pork was on the dry side, and it lacked a little flavor. I asked for a little sriracha on the sandwich, and he looked at me like I was nuts. I eventually got it, on the side. The bread was toasted nicely, but not pressed like you typically get out of cubano. The sandwich was pretty small. It was just Ok. I’ve had better cubanos. The service was extremely slow. I’ve noticed that most other food trucks, even with long lines get you food in under 10 minutes. This truck took over twice that. If its faster to drive somewhere than it is to order from the food truck, to me it sorta defeats the purpose. The 2 workers didn’t seem that excited to be there. I’ll eat here if I’m hungry, but Chop City wasn’t worth swinging wide for.

I tried the bourbon BLT and it was amazing! The bread was toasted just right, the Sunnyside up egg in it was perfect, the bacon was awesome, everything was so yummy. $ 8 for a sandwich and drink or chips, not bad for something this good.

This place is great and something different for area. Was really satisfied with the different selections that were available. Been a few times and the bacon brownie is something surprisingly pleasing! If you’re looking to try something new then give these guys a look!

First sandwich I tried was the Texan– delicious pulled pork with the perfect amount of cole slaw. The sandwich was warm despite the freezing temperature outside(food truck). Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely be going back! If you follow them on social media you can find their truck schedule.

We are newcomers to the Food Truck Underground. We have a couple of favorites, but Chop City is the Top Favorite for our family. The Cuban Sandwich is absolutely delicious. And the Pulled Pork Chili was so yummy! The BLT with the fried egg was dream-worthy! We can’t wait to try the other sandwiches. The guys that work in and out of the truck are awesome, good men! We look forward to finding where the Chop City trucks are in Utah County. We’d probably drive to SLC for a Cuban! Thanks guys. Whether Unilocal recommends or doesn’t recommend this review… You Guys Are The Bomb!
