Centennial Park

Out of all the parks in West Valley City, this has to be the best one.
There are large open fields that are great for playing soccer, flying kites, ultimate frisbee, or just letting your pooch run around in circles. A cemented track encircles the park as well that is great for walking, running, or riding a bicycle. A couple of pavillions for parties and grills for barbequing, tennis courts and two separate medium-​sized playgrounds (one of which has swings!) are also included at this park.
There is access to an outdoor pool (Centennial Swimming Pool) during the summer or you can hit up the indoor gym/​pool (Family Fitness Center) or even the indoor ice skating rink. These places cost money but is worth paying a couple of bucks to burn some calories.
A really good park that has all of the essentials and a little bit more.
Note (s): Towards the end of June, the West Fest takes place filled with rides, foods, and entertainment. Also, it is near some retail stores (Walmart and Winco) so you can get grocery shopping done afterwards.
