Ben is a magician! I’m a competitive bodybuilder, and have had Ben do some work on my problem areas where I get super tight. One of my worst areas is my legs. I had Ben work on my quads and a couple days later, had the best training session I think I’ve ever had! Whether you’re looking for a classic, relaxing massage, or getting some deep tissue work done, Ben is the man for the job!

This spa is a hidden gem in Sugarhouse. I bought a Groupon for a facial and eyebrow wax. Mistee was my aesthetician and she did an amazing job. She really took her time and addressed some blemishes on my face that needed to be dealt with. I’ve never had someone go the extra mile like that (free of charge). Mistee is a delightful person to talk to, and also offered me a blanket since I was a little chilly. I would say my favorite part was probably the eyebrow wax. My brows were shaped perfectly!!! I will definitely be coming back to see her. Another perk to this spa is that they offer online scheduling which is very convenient.

A one stop for all things massage and skin. Mistee is an incredible esthetician who totally saved my brows and gave me the best spray tan I’ve ever gotten in Salt Lake. She’s so talented, gentle, and personable with her work! Ben is also an amazing massage therapist who is perfect at making you feel completely comfortable and relaxed. The staff as a whole were kind and welcoming and the place was pleasant and clean. Online scheduling was particularly helpful! Will definitely return!

This was my first massage so I was a little nervous going in not knowing what to expect. Dylan put all of those worries aside and really made sure that I was comfortable and understood what was to be expected. I would highly recommend him to anyone! He even taught me proper stretching techniques to keep the back stress away! I will be back!

I am a lil leery about getting a massage from just anyone, so I went online in search of a good place. Blue Water Bodyworks had good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. The place is cozy, clean and smells lovely! I had a massage from Dylan. It was awesome! I constantly have discomfort in my neck, shoulders, and back, but not anymore! Dylan was great to make sure the pressure was just right. No fluffery! A good massage will make a person feel good long after they go home, not just while they are getting the massage. I totally feel loose and relaxed. Gonnu sleep like a baby tonight! I would definitely recommend trying out Blue Water Bodyworks. Thank you Dylan! BTW the hot towels are an outstanding feature to the massage, big fan:)

My husband treated me to a massage for my birthday and I got Dillon. I’ve never had a massage done by a guy. Dillon was really understanding and respectful when I mentioned that I hadn’t ever been in any state of undress with any guy except my husband.
The area was relaxing and nice. And they had online scheduling and are staffed well enough that you can find a time that works best for you. Dillon was friendly and knowledgable albeit a bit more deep tissue than I could handle. But, he became more gentle when I asked him to take it down a notch.
Blue Water Backworks seems to put the emphasis on fixing back issues and rubbing out chronically painful areas which is awesome if you want more than just a simple relaxing massage.

This was my first massage ever and it was really great. I don’t have anything to compare it to, but it felt great relaxing. Dylan was both friendly and professional. He knew what he was doing and gave me some tips at the end for stretches/​exercises I could do to help with areas that are particularly problematic.
The vibe of the place was nice too. It felt intimate with soothing music and even a nice smell!
I recommend this place for sure. My friend was with me and she had her appointment with Ben. She also was very impressed and is leaving her own great review here. So it sounds like anybody there will do a good job!

I had my first massage in a while here, and boy do they impress! To begin: a friend and I went at the same time and we had two separate therapists (I had Ben and she had Dylan– and she was more than happy with his performance) and I can’t think of anything to even complain about. The massage was top notch and the heated towels and aroma therapy just put it over the top.

My massage was okay. Nothing spectacular but the facility is clean and quiet and I got a good deal on the price online. I prefer the healing mountain massage school for price and, maybe because they are student trying hard, the massages are more relaxing.

If you want the best massage ever you need to go see Ben and his team!!! I’ve had many massages over the years and this was by far the most fantastic massage! I explained where I hurt and Ben got to work on releaving my pain in my back and legs! I’m definitely going back and you should too!!!

Wow. I have had many massage therapists for over 25 years of massage and Ben is one of the very best practitioners that I have ever experienced. He is professional, gifted and simply the best. I had a knee injury and he was careful to check with me that the pressure was just right. He has a strong touch if you want deep tissue and if not he adjusts kindly. My knee was without pain for the first time in a month and I feel like I have found the only massage therapist that I need to know about.

I used to buy every massage coupon on Groupon and other online coupon sources. I have had many massages and thus numerous disappointments. I stopped buying online massage coupons to random businesses as soon as I met Ben. I’ve known Ben Harvey going on 3 years and every massage has far exceeded my expectations.
He offers the deepest massage I have ever experienced and is able to ferret out those painful tight spots you didn’t even know were there. Knowledgeable in recovery for athletic muscles, and provides recommendations for stretches and workouts to improve muscle issues.
Search no further, Ben is simply the BEST.

Ben Harvey at Blue Water Bodywork is the only massage therapist you need to know in Salt Lake. As a graduation gift my girlfriend gave me a gift card for a one-​hour body massage. The work left me feeling healed with a sense of well-​being.
It takes less than 20 minutes to get here from downtown. The space is small, quiet, and serene. He quickly got started and knew where I was tense since I told him I was a student. Besides the phenomenal body work he did, he also gave me tips on stretching and posture.
Honestly this was the best gift I could have received. I did not know I needed it until it was over and felt better than ever. It was the only thing I wanted to talk about for the rest of the day. This was hands down the best treatment for my stress, anxiety, and tension.

After signing up for a half marathon a few weeks back, I decided to keep my eyes open for a good deal on a massage for the same day to speed up the recovery process from the run.
I stumbled across a special for Blue Water Bodywork and I’m extremely happy that I did. It was a $ 35 for $ 70 voucher and the prices listed on the website put that at exactly the price ($ 70) for the 60 minute massage. Already a killer deal. When I went to book an appointment the prices on the scheduling site were a little different, listing $ 79 for a 90 minute massage. A difference of only $ 9, I went with the 90 minute massage. Previously I had only ever had 60 minute massages and I was excited for the extension of time.
Getting to the location (3900 S and 700 E) was a little tough as a result of the marathon route that was on 3900, but once around that parking was very easy. The massage office — two rooms, was very simple but also an extremely relaxing atmosphere.
And then there was the massage! Obviously, I went in for a Deep Tissue/​Sports Recovery massage. In the past my massages have ranged from pretty good to pretty week sauce and light. Ben did an excellent job of being very thorough across all the different muscle areas. Very consistent and very broadly pressured massage. I felt great after and my recovery from the half has been very fast, being two days past and at about 95% normal.
I don’t go in for massages very often, but if I need any more here in Salt Lake, I’ll definitely try and make an appointment with him.
