Aja Massage Studio

I was looking forward to a bit of relaxation at the end of a long month, and Angie delivered! Complete relaxation and stress relief. I will be returning soon!

I was in town on a business trip, and had a wicked knot in my neck. Got a massage from Angie and it was one of the best I’ve ever had (might be biased because I was so sore, but I don’t think so). She’s been doing massage for 13 years, teaching for 3, and knows the muscles so well. I thought it was a right-​side problem, when really it originated from the left. She also discovered muscles I had no idea about, let alone knew how ridiculously tight they were.
Here I am the next day feeling fantastic. Thank you Angie!
Not to mention, it was cold and dark when I left, so she gave me a ride so I wouldn’t have to walk alone in the dark back to my hotel. Above and beyond!

Angie was phenomenal. The room is really inviting, clean and comfy. Really appreciated being able to book online too. You know a massage is good, not just when you immediately leave the salon feeling relaxed, but you really know when you wake up the next day without the tightness in your shoulders, back and neck. Will definitely return and am referring friends as well.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with 90 minute couples massage with Angie and Bree. We have had many massages over the years, and these girls beat all! Calming, soothing room, perfect for unwinding. Aside from a couple questions about pressure, it was the quietest massages we’ve experienced. (Triple thumbs up!) My husband wanted deep pressure and couldn’t believe how strong Angie’s hands were and how she was able to release the knots in his back. We can’t wait to go back.

I am constantly on the go. I hardly ever relax and to me that’s ok, most of the time. I do know that my mind needs to recharge and my body needs to slow down more often than I allow. I am a hair stylist so I am always moving my upper body and standing for most hours of the day. It has crossed my mind a time or two that I need to get a massage but I have never made time for it. A friend of mine brought this place to my attention and we went.
The second I walked in the door I felt great about it. Good energy, comfortable and these ladies are so fun, welcoming and wonderful! I have never experienced anything this relaxing. My body feels less up tight too. This needs to become a more frequent routine for me along with everyone else! Sheesh, Breelynn is magic and knows exactly what to do. I will be seeing them again.

This was my first time at Aja Massage Studio and I opted for a hot stone massage with Angie. It was amazing! I didn’t have to wait around, she did a great job and I felt as though I really got my money’s worth. She also gives you referral cards. The new person gets $ 30 off their service and the referrer gets $ 20. Pretty awesome and definitely worth referring. I will definitely be going back!

I had the best massage I’ve ever had from Bree — and I have had many, many massages! I am still trying to figure out how to get her to move to Northern California! Very intuitive, very knowledgable, and very strong massage therapist — HIGHLY recommend!

So… each massage therapist has their routine, you know the normal steps they go to and the exact amount of time they spend doing each one. If you don’t know this… you don’t get enough massage.
Angie at Aja has the best routine I have ever experienced. But alex what experience do you really have (just referred to myself in the first person this is about to get real) I have been massaged by 25 (minimum) different people. And angie does the best job, I feel so confident in giving this a five star (the first true five star for a massage place that I have given).
The only downside really isnt that big of a deal, it is just kind of awkward to find. The street google maps says its on LOOK FOR THE LIGHT BLUE DOOR, facing that blue door go down the right alley and youll see a giant tree stump that is AJA parking lot.
The ambiance is great… the music is great with a few random monk songs thrown in… those ones made me giggle. The routine is flawless and I still feel great. I will definitely go back.
THE VERDICT: I havent been to every massage spa that exists, but I have now found one that I can go to frequently and not feel like I could be spending my money better. If you have a sore body… go to AJA you wont be disappointed and if you are… screw you.

I came across Aja massage when I was in Salt Lake City on a business trip. I needed a last minute massage and Angie was gracious enough to squeeze me in on her lunch break! I get massages pretty often and I have to say that she is definitely among the better ones that I’ve received. I’ll be back in town a few more times this year for work and will definitely be back to see her. Highly recommend to visit Angie if youre looking for a massage in Salt Lake City. (She was extremely responsive via email even though her site had no appointments available!)

I love going to Aja Massage, Angie knows just what to do. The space is a great ambiance and in the perfect location. I have been a few times and recommend Aja to anyone I speak to looking for a massage in SLC.

Angie was incredibly warm and kind. It was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. They have a great location downtown and the price was very fair… I’m going to be back very soon. I highly recommend Aja!

Breelyn and Angie were more than flexible with their time for the couple’s massage I received with my partner. I absolutely loved Angie’s intuitive touch and knowledge of what my lower back needed. Beyond the great prices, I appreciated the quality of care that I received from these two local owners. I would recommend Aja to anyone in a heart beat!
