Love this annual neighborhood festival. Just big enough to offer something for everyone yet still a smaller neighborhood affair. Enjoyed the great weather this year(no rain) and the extra food truck offerings made finding something new to eat easier. Did not like the placement of the main stage this year, it put spectators facing directly into the sun. Sadly, many of the permanent district merchants really miss out on the opportunity to demonstrate that they are there and what they offer to the community by failing to participate in the days events.

This ended up being a lot better than I had anticipated! It had good music, lots of vendors and a variety of food. Plus, Unilocal was there! We’re already planning on attending next year!

I moved to this neighborhood because of this Festival. Seriously. Thanks to the 9th and 9th Street Festival I wandered through what I personally feel is the best neighborhood in Salt Lake City. From eclectic shops to great shaded neighborhood streets this area has it all. The festival every fall is just icing on the cake. Great vendors. Wonderful entertainment. Tasty food and shops up and down the street open for business and many with great sales. It’s pretty awesome! So check it out every year for great people watching and entertainment. Maybe you will end up part of the hood like I did.
