I love WTF! Not only do we participate in their spring CSA(veggies and meat) every year, but we also get our Thanksgiving turkey from them as well(best turkey you can get — so juicy and flavorful). Plus we visit them at the farmer’s market to stock up on meat we might not get in our share. The meats are great — from the burgers, to rib-eyes, chicken quarters, breakfast sausages and hot dogs. OH and the pork chops. Really good, juicy, thick chops, great for grilling or pan frying. And let’s not forget their eggs… always fresh and delicious. I won’t buy eggs anywhere else.

If for no other reason, then you should go to Wild Turkey Farms because they have the best acronym ever. But aside from that, they have solid product — which you can usually find at the Davidson or Salisbury markets, as well as in a couple of restaurants around, and they also offer a CSA. Unfortunately, like many farms, they are not the best place to visit — it’s a working farm, not a petting zoo, and so when you go they don’t really know how to entertain you. So it’s probably best to pick up the food elsewhere, especially at a restaurant where you can eat it(or at home where you can just cook it).
