My husband went to this store with my 2 year old daughter to buy her a bicycle helmet. She picked one out and my husband went to the salesperson. He plans to buy a road bike in the next year and was asking a few questions. My daughter was happily squealing a bit because she had found the helmet that would allow her to ride in her new child seat with daddy. The salesperson told him she couldn’t help him with the child screaming and to come back when he wasn’t babysitting. Firstly, my husband, my daughter, the salesperson and a mechanic were the only people in the store. It’s not like she was disturbing other customers. Secondly, he was ready to make a purchase and inquiring about another fairly expensive item. I’ve been in retail and management for the past 10 years and can not imagine treating a customer this rudely. We will spend our money elsewhere, where people can at least not be blatantly rude.
