L A Murph’s Fine Cooking

This is by far the best take-​out in the entire town, which should be saying a lot but isn’t. Yes, i know I’m cruel to the core.
For the most part they have soups, sandwiches and some desserts. They have a few tables to sit at and it’s a pleasant atmosphere inside. Like many businesses in Salisbury they roll up the side walk promptly at 6 so be sure to get there with enough time to get your goods if your doing take-​out.
Again, this is the best qourmet-​esque type of food in the area and they have something for just about every palate. I do wish they’d do more specials and switch things up a bit but I think the regulars like counting on L A Murph’s having what they like when they walk in.
It’s a traditional area … and that’s not changing anytime too soon :(.

They have a great chicken salad and all of the desserts are home made which makes the experience all the better!

I love LA Murphs, and the Ladies that work there. I haven’t ever gotten anything bad. Everything I have tried is fantastic. I have bought sides, main dishes, lunch boxes, desserts, specialty breads, you name it. I love the recipes, the convenience, and the atmosphere when I choose to eat inside. Thank goodness I work so close to this place! In fact I am having their Poppy Seed Chicken as I type this. YUM!

I have been here a few times and I am never disappointed with the food. Staff is friendly and they have a drive-​thru! Try the boxed lunches… and the lemon bars! Would’ve been 5 stars if they had Wi-​Fi.

I recently had a bad migraine and couldn’t cook dinner so my husband stopped here and got the chicken parm entrée to go. All you had to do is throw it in oven for about 30 mins and serve. Unfortunately by the time I woke it up it wasn’t hot anymore but it was good. I would only give this part of their service 3 stars because for the price you would think a side of pasta or a plain green salad would come with the chicken. However it was only chicken… it was four pieces, but again for the price four people would have still been hungry without some pasta or salad.
I would order an entrée from them again IF I was unable to go or go out. However I stand by my 4 star rating of their lunchbox specials. I also recently had their Caesar Salad with Chicken and it was more food than I could eat for lunch and had leftovers for the next day, their croutons are home made and dressing served on side!
In general because everything is homemade and the GREAT service I stick by the 4 star rating.

LA Murph’s… I love it. They have some of the yummiest pastries in Salisbury. The cream stuffed oatmeal cookies rock and I would have never thought of peanut butter cookies stuffed with peanut butter but they were excellent as well. I had to try the brownies because they are my favorite and they were pretty stellar.
I went there on the recommendation of my boss who suggested the Cashew Chicken salad with their homemade honey mustard dressing. The chicken was served cold. I would have preferred it was heated but it was good all the same and for $ 7.00 you get a brownie and a drink so count me in.
This is by no means a very large place, they have bistro outdoor tables on the inside but what I think is cool is they serve a special everyday like Pot Roast or Meat Loaf and they have a drive through. They have family portions so if you find yourself in need of a quick homemade meal it is ideal. If you call ahead they will have your lunch and dinner for the family ready so you never need to get out of the car. Cool!
The women in the place are all fabulous and they seemed genuinely happy to serve you. Refreshing!!!
