Chili’s Grill & Bar

This is my third time here and I don’t get some of the negative reviews on here.
Decent food, cold beer and the barmaids always bend over backwards to make sure you are taken care of.
It’s decent chain restaurant food and I have never had them say no to any special requests. In fact my wife and I always seem to end up at a chili’s when we can not decide on where to go.

Went there for dinner with my son and daughter. When we got inside they seated us right away and gave us menus. The pages of my sons menu Were stuck together from a sticky food product. The waitress was very good and took our orders. We got an appetizer of chips and cheese with hamburger in it. It came to the table and looked like brown ****. I asked the waitress what was in it, she said cheese, spices, and hamburger. And the chunks in it was the hamburger. We all tried it and it was not good. We told the waitress we didn’t like it and she took it off our bill. We each ordered 3 different entrees. And neither one of us liked them. I got the liter fare chicken, too spicy. My daughter got build your own burger, too greasy. My son got soft tacos, not good. We will not come here again

We had an exceptional waitress named Eliot who went out of her way to make us a plate of dessert even with the kitchen closed and we were ecstatic. The food was also very good.

Placed a online curbside order today. I specifically said online that I did NOT want lettuce or pickles on my cheeseburger. Guess what came on my cheeseburger? Lettuce & pickles. Plus you’re not able to pay online when ordering. So I called in to pay so my friend picking up wouldn’t have to & was told I wasn’t able to pay over the phone. Funny how almost every other restaurant in ton allows you to do this…

The tables, seats and menus were dirty and sticky. As we were being seated, 3 of us, the table was getting a wipe-​down with a nasty looking rag. Our order took 30 minutes to arrive. 1 steak, 1 burger, 1 mac and cheese… How hard is that?
There were only 3 other tables to serve. The steak was burned and was missing the garlic toast. We sent it back and waited another 25 minutes for her dinner. We were done eating by the time it came. Manager said he cooked it himself and took it off our bill… thankyou. The hamburger had a strong fishy taste… not at all appetizing for a beef burger with bacon and cheese. Odd plating of the burger too… bottom bun with lettuce and mayo sitting in the middle of plate… Next to… Tomato slice topped with fishy burger patty topped by cheese, bacon, pickle and top bun. Took a balancing act with a bent fork to assemble my burger.
The only saving grace was the massive slice of cheesecake for dessert.
I’m not planning on ever going back unless this place get a major overhaul. A visit from the Health Dept. may also be a good idea. Gordon Ramsay busy?

This is my 2^nd time dining in this Chili’s. It’s located in Salisbury MD on route 13 right after you pass the mall going north to Dover. Same side of the road as Walmart and there’s a Wawa next door.
Just like last time I was here a couple of years ago it was around 7pm in the evening and the place was pretty slow. (Was a Monday night this time). The bar was about half full as I took a seat and waited for the bartender. When I say bar, I mean the bar proper, not the entire room. That means there were about 6 people there other than myself. The main dining room was a ghost town.
Once she arrived I ordered an iced tea and she left to get it. No greeting, no menu… A few minutes later she returns with the tea and walks away. Again, no acknowledgement, still no menu. Ten minutes goes by before she returns, notices my glass is almost empty and asks if I’d like anything else. «Yes please, how about a menu» I say.
I get my menu and end up ordering a bacon cheese burger. Again I wait… and wait… About 30 minutes later my burger arrives. 30 fricken minutes for a burger in a restaurant that has next to no customers at all. I’m beginning to think at this point that I wouldn’t want to be here if there was a real crowd as I may never get anything to eat.
The burger was good, a little short on the fries but I’m not going to complain at this point. I finished it in short order and hit the road back to Va Beach. I’ll think twice before stopping in this Chili’s again.

It used to better when they had the free wings at happy hour. Now you only get like 8 at a time. (Maybe less now since I haven’t been in awhile.)
Too bad people ruined it for some of us by 1) taking up a bar area spot and by 2) making a meal out of the wings while drinking water.
Seriously? At least get a *uckin beer!
The chips and salsa are typical Chili’s…best among all the fast food joints.
