This is yet another restaurant that uses«in» food words to create dishes that they are truly incapable of preparing. The«caprese» salad has mozzarella and tomato AND everything but the kitchen sink. The«bruschetta» is a sandwich and the seared tuna taco is served a refrigerator temperature(perhaps the tuna is actually seared, but refrigerator cold to the touch) and served on a soft tortilla taken directly off the refrigerated stack(no attempt to heat). The waitress was very nice and was happy to heat it for me, but a cold soft tortilla taco? Yuck.

Started traveling for my new job and I am at a local customer here in Delmar. Looking for a nice place to relax and whine down from the day. I had asked the lady at the front desk, at the local hotel I was staying at, where I could find a good tap room or tavern. She recommended a place down the street by a river, however it didn’t have that warm feeling that I was looking for. Naturally wanting to be home after a day of travel and work and not in a hotel. I searched on my Unilocal!app to find a place. Cellar Door Tavern here is what I came across. Looked nice and had craft beers on tap. Excellent! When I had gotten there I felt like I was home in my own basement. A nice place to have a drink, and relax. While I was here I conversed with the very nice waiting staff and bartender. I even met the owner! Very nice people. Oh I bet you want to know about the food? OMFG!!! Good is putting it to shame. The food was better then excellent. With the local micro beers on tap as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this place from anyone wanting a place to relax to someone looking to have a good night out to someone who wants to wine and dine their significant other. I know that I won’t steer you wrong. Oh and tell them I sent you, Jason from CT.

Had a great lunch here. Waitress was fun and the food was very good: quality sandwiches and similar. It’s not a large place but does have a small area in the back for a larger group.

Fantastic food, cold beer, and a gorgeous friendly attentive waitress. What more could a guy want from a tavern? The draft beer prices are the best in town.

Came across Cellar Door during a Downtown trip. Asked the server outside the door what kind of food they served. Sounded good, so I and my companion decided to do Dinner here. First off we had the Tomato Basil soup. Really nice. Their Caesar Salad was one of the best-tasting I’ve had. And I got the Pressed Cuban Sandwich(my first) and it was really good. To wash it all down I had a draft Ale by Stillwater Ales of Baltimore, which was excellent. Our server, Georgia, had a good personality and was efficient. I’m glad we didn’t overlook this little gem. Good to have something like this in Salisbury. It really is a nice little spot with great food and drink.

Menu looked great! Unfortunately they seemed to be out of almost everything– tuna, scallops, soup, and a few others I can’t remember. Very disappointing

Went for the first time. Had heard good things about this new eatery. We were not disappointed. Great atmosphere. Lots of mingling and conversation. We liked the menu. Small plates with great choices. I had the cream and beer crab soup, scallops and wedge salad. All good. We each had three items, two drinks and shared a dessert for $ 86. No complaints. We will return.

This place is great! The food was wonderful and the environment was clean and comfortable. Service was a little slow but I think that is the setting they are going for, take your time and relax. Food came out fast but the waitress definitely gave us our space. I hope they do well and stay around because it is a place I would love to continue to go to. I would not reccomend it for kids though, the menu has different foods.

I had heard so many good things about Cellar Door and finally got there today. Décor is very warm and inviting. Food, prices, and service were excellent. Highly recommended to support a local business.

We were looking for a new place to eat on Salisbury after buying a microwave at Sears. We saw an entry that was highly rated but only two reviews — one eight days ago and one yesterday. It has been open for about that long. It is a tavern and in a basement. We once again established that we don’t know downtown Salisbury well. It is on Camden. Right next to Wdmt Television across the public lot from the Salisbury public library. When I am at OTC or other places I can just pop over there. Our waitress Christina Was helpful and competent. They offer 5 microbrews on tap and have a great menu of appetizers salads soup sandwiches and wraps bothy wife and I were pleased with our selections. I will return
