Back again! Another successful visit two weeks ago. Just received a text that my Tom Fords are in. Yeah!

Had my 1^st appt. here yesterday. Although I was running a few mins late and they said I’d have to reschedule, I showed up 5 mins after my appt. time, and they agreed to see me without rescheduling. :) There was a bit of miscommunication about my previous optometric records, but Reception staff were very helpful and sorted it out.
Dr. Fewtrell was wonderful! Rosie in the eyewear area was also extremely helpful.
I went back today as I had to make up my mind about which frames I was going to get. I was waiting to sign in when Dr. Fewtrell walked past; he asked Reception staff to pull my info up, then walked me right over to Rosie. Nothing against Costco Optometry, but this was a great experience all around!

Just had my first eye appt with Dr. Fewtrell. He was amazing. Very friendly and explained everything! It was such a thorough exam. He took the time to do everything needed to be sure the prescription I got worked. I’m extremely happy with him. I didn’t feel rushed and he listened to everything I said. Office staff was very nice. I don’t ever expect much with office staff as my main concern is the doctor. I’m glad I found him!

I usually go to Dr Flickner in Salinas but due to the urgency that my daughter get in (swelling to her eye) I was able to get an appointment here. The staff was nice and the Dr. was very thorough. The only complaint I have is that I don’t like waiting for a long period of time when I have an appt. As a mother of 4, long waits in Doctors office feels like a lifetime. Overall, I would highly recommend this office and will be going back soon.

Since this review Dr. Fewtrell and the office manager have both contacted me. They asked if I could return and give them another chance. I did, as I had mentioned prior I love going to see Dr. Fewtrell. First, as I came I was very well greeted, which I had never experienced. The staff was actually very helpful as we had some insurance snags due to my policy and my husbands. They called in and fixed the issue right away. My eye exam was great. I will mention that I think the person before me was smoking which made me cringe when using the machines, but there isn’t much they can do about that. I even picked out two pairs of glasses, regular and sun. I have double insurance and the staff helping me decide was incredibly helpful, she even picked out both pairs of glasses I ended up purchasing. I was there for quite a bit of time and they were patient with me I the process of selecting glasses and extraordinarily helpful since I was by myself. I will definitely continue going there as long as I can. Thanks for the response and changes my original post. It’s great to see business’ take care of their customers and making things right.

Dr. Fewtrell and Dr. Estrada are both excellent optometrists. Wonderful customer service. There is an amazing selection of glasses and contacts.
I love that I can go home with boxes of my contact lenses. I don’t have to go anywhere else. Very convenient.
The staff is also very friendly and helpful!

Dr. Estrada is one of the most well known and respected Optometrists in California. I have met other Optometrists in the field and he is always mentioned and praised for his expertise and innovative practice. He has been our family Optometrist for the last 10 years and I have to say that we really treasure him. My grandparents have flown in from Mexico just to receive treatment from him. His staff is extremely helpful and never hesitate to go out of their way to get your questions answered. It is a very well-​organized and clean office. I have also been very impressed with their selection of sunglasses, Dior, Fendi, D&G etc. Dr. Estrada is extremely knowledgeable, patient and thorough. I would definitely recommend him as an Eye Doctor!

Best in Salinas. Staff is always friendly and both doctors are very attentive and thorough. From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the friendly staff to the assistants that take you through the different test stations before meeting with the doctor you are treated as a VIP. If you are lucky enough to be prescribed glasses then you will be escorted over to the frame stylists, who are all beautiful ladies, and they will patiently help you choose the frames and lenses that will most fit your budget and personal style. I switched over to this office last year from my previous optometrist and have never regretted the switch. Nice, clean and contemporary office, and service is great, definitely highly recommended.
