Salinas Pediatric Medical Group

I’ve been so impressed with this group. I switched my 12 month old to this group and they have been wonderful with getting him a quick appointment while sick, and they were great with following up on him. And everyone seemed knowledgable and cheerful. Highly recommend!

I brought my baby in for her 2 month baby wellness check up, i walked into the office and noticed so many sick children, And of course as a first time Mom very cautious and worried my baby would get sick. I told the receptionist that I felt worried about my baby getting sick and she told me in a very rude and annoyed voice ‚“ma’am its fine dont worry.” AND at that exact moment a little boy went running to the trash can to throw up! I just wanted to get my daughter out of there! Once I went in to see Dr. Mercado (who is AMAZING and such a nice doctor) I mentioned to her about what happend and that it would be nice if they had an area for sick children and well children and she told my that they do! They have another office for check ups and healthy kids and the one I was at was for SICK kids! I was like what the hell?! How come that receptionist didn’t tell me that!!! Instead she told me to shut up and deal with it. I changed offices because I cannot beileve they put my baby in that situation and the receptionist should have told me to schedule an appointment at their other office. And when I went back to get my daughters charts sent over to tbe new office, I asked for Dr. Mercado’s email so I could tell her my reason for leaving and explain that it was not because of her the receptionist told me she did not have an email to talk to patients?! Seems odd in this day an age.
