Do NOT move here! This place is disgusting! My apartment was infested with cockroaches for 3 months. No rent was reduced for it. Had to have apartment sprayed every week for almost 3 months to get rid of them. Had to throw out a ton of appliances like keurig because cockroaches were living in it. They steal your money from your deposit when you move out for ridiculous charges. I got charged for drip pans when I replaced them with brand new ones. Apartment was super loud with a lot of questionable people. Gates were always propped open.

I cannot attest to the quality of the property itself, but I can tell anyone looking to rent here about the shady and unprofessional way their staff conducts business.
I applied for an apartment and did not meet the income requirements so my application was denied. That itself was not the issue. The online system asks for your income but still lets you pay the application fee and $ 500 fee for the unit. I spoke with their staff numerous times and the income requirements were never disclosed.
After my application was denied I assumed that I would just be refunded the $ 500 for the apartment that I would not be renting. I was wrong. I applied on a Thursday and heard nothing until Tuesday morning after I sent a nasty email to them. Apparently they have to send a check from corporate that takes 5 – 10 business days.
As for contacting the office by phone, forget about it. They have an answering service that cuts in and takes messages for the office after you have been on hold for a few minutes so you don’t tie up their lines. I called one day 19 times and left messages; they did not get a call until late the next afternoon. I have never spoken to someone directly when calling, it is always a hassle. This seems to be the case with all UDR Properties.

Only been her for a few months but so far it’s ok. Very quiet at night can actually sleep. Two nice pools and state of the art fitness equiptment. Rent is good for what you get. Better than Boronda
