I have been having carpets cleaned for many years and this was far the worst service I have ever had. The cost was double what I paid for by steam clean method and the majority of the spots reappeared the next day. The carpet also has dull appearance and feels like there is something left on it. I should have stayed with steam cleaning as advised by Shaw one of the largest carpet manufactures. Doug is good at selling you his method which is substandard to say the least. He charged me $ 89 for the first 330sqft and added $.44 sqft for the additional rooms which is about twice the cost of other comparable companies. Total cost $ 372 for 1000sqft which took him two hours. Overcharged. Steam cleaned cost $ 180 and the machine they use I am sure cost more $ 15,000. Doug showed up in his fairly new high end VW SUV with equipment loaded int he back. Not very professional.

Monterey Bay Carpet Cleaning was recommended by the property manager for the house I rented for almost 5 years. It had new while carpets upon my move in and I had 2 cats and 2 dogs, so there was plenty to clean! Doug did a fantastic job and the property manager was happy too, so I will be getting all my deposit back! Yay! On top of that the carpets were dry in only one hour and no obnoxious smells — or rather — no smells at all. I would highly recommend this company!

Doug did a fantastic job. Very detailed and well priced. The best thing is that the carpet is dry in only a couple of hours. I will definetly use him again.
