Glen brought his awesome photo booth to our wedding reception this past weekend and it was the hit of the night… nothing but great feedback about the set up and the quality of the photos! The photos were emailed quickly to all the guests and everyone really enjoyed their photos! I highly recommend Glen McDowell Photography for any event you are planning… he is a true professional and is the easiest guy to work with… he even customized the background for our event to incorporate our wedding invitation which really added a special touch! I can’t say enough good things about Glen… he truly is the best there is out there!

Ok ladies. Listen up!!! If you’re anything like me, you’re self conscious and spend too much time beating yourself up about the way you look. I’ve always wanted to feel better about myself and truly believe that I’m beautiful, and I’ve finally found the answer! Glen McDowell Pin Up! photography!!!
I discovered Glen’s booth at the Women’s Expo in San Francisco a couple weeks ago. He had several pictures on display and I was immediately draw to them. Very tasteful. Fun and flirty! I though to myself, wow, I might be able to do that, and he’s so talented, maybe he can make me look that good?!
I took a card and emailed him on Monday, following the Women’s Expo. He got back to me and we discussed different outfits and ideas. I did my own research, with Glen’s guidance and picked up a few outfits for the photo shoot.
The Pin Up! package is the way to go! Inez (his hair and makeup artist) is ridiculously awesome. There aren’t words to express how good she is. Pictures though. :) They set aside 4 hours for the entire shoot, which includes the hair and makeup and 3 outfit changes. Inez is there the whole time touching up your hair and outfits for you!
Glen has tons of props and as long as you let him know beforehand what theme you want to try, he’ll have multiple options for you once you’re there. His studio is right in downtown, old town Salinas and it’s a perfect size. Makeup/​Hair area in the back and photo shoot area in the front.
Onto Glen. It’s VERY rare that you meet someone as professional and experienced as Glen. From the moment I showed up, he chatted me up. He knew that I was nervous (this is the first time I’ve ever done this) and spent the time to get me excited about the shoot.
During the shoot he was a HUGE motivator and gave so much support and guidance. I haven’t felt that good about myself since my wedding. He makes you feel like a model and it’s so fun and empowering.
He showed me the rough (untouched) photos once we wrapped and I was beside myself! I’ve NEVER looked that good. Even at my wedding. Glen is truly an artist and I cannot wait to see the proofs and the final outcome. I know they will be stunning.
If you do one thing for yourself this year, it should be a photo shoot with Glen. It will change your life forever.
If I could give him 10 stars I would. There aren’t enough stars to express what he’s given me. I will DEFINITELY be back!

I have had the opportunity to shoot twice with Glen, both for a «modern pin-​up look.» Glen made me feel extremely comfortable and his direction made me feel like he knew exactly what he was doing. He offered a full set of proofs for my review, and even they looked amazing!
Needless to say, my final portraits came out amazing. A gift like a pin-​up photo for your significant other is priceless for both of you.

Glen McDowell is a seasoned photog professional. He is probably best known for his pin-​up photography and his traditional wedding portraits. I have done both with him.

I thought I would be so nervous doing a pin-​up photo shoot, it was a wedding present for my husband and I had never done anything like that before. I think Glen has a magical talent for making you comfortable in your own body… he is great at getting you into that perfect pose so your legs look longer and your waist looks smaller. Needless to say, my husband loved his present and when I’m old and gray I can look back at the pictures he took when I was young and lookin’ hot, haha.
I love his Vargasesque vintage styling. It’s so classic. What woman doesn’t want to look and feel like Rita Hayworth?
Glen took hundreds of pictures at our wedding and all of them were keepers. He captured all of the important moments and he even fit into my theme of the Old Hollywood Glamour when he arrived in his suspenders suit. He was the perfect man for the job. I could go on and on but just look at his pictures, they are fun to browse.
