dd’s DISCOUNTS

Awesome service ! Loved bring greeted constantly by the staff. Cheap prices also, cant beat that. The cashier named veronica was very friendly and helpful… A++

man this place has gone down in quality control real bad… when this place opened it was nice and clean with great service! but not there’s no management…
there’s a mess EVERYWHERE!!! including the shelves! many items opened and missing i found some opened packages of lightbulbs opened and tapped up. posters,
clothes, many items on the floor… i use to like this place and from the looks of it so did the employees now they look like slaves working there. the thing is i never understand if you do not like the customer service business find work else where makes me feel very uncomfortable at the register when the employee tells me they’re tired and have a hate look on their face like they hate their job find one elsewhere man i want a happy smiling employee. i know it’s not easy after 6 – 7 hours but buck up! this place SHOWS!!! the employees do not care for this place anymore very sad…

I love dds! They have so much cheap stuff here. the clothes are not that great but trust me. sometimes they do have nice clothes from Charlotte russe and rue 21 and stuff like that. I found cute cardigans here for like $ 7 bucks! Worth it ! Plus let me tell about scrubs… And I LOVE the scrubs here this is the place I shop for scrubs if you wear scrubs u know how expensive a shirt will cost like $ 15 at Walmart and pants $ 17 and here at dds the shirts are $ 5 – 8 and same with pants. and sometimes they have good brands like dickies and cherokee brands that are like $ 20 – 30 when at dds are less than $ 10.I don’t even care if the customer service is horrible and there’s a mess everywhere I still love it here

I love shooting at dd’s with all the name brand clothes they carry at bargain prices. I had a particularly great experience with one of the managers there. He went out of his way to help me with and issue I had with a defective item and really embodied what real customer service should be. I felt like I was dealing with a close friend or family member. The next time I go to dd’s I’m gonna make sure to say hi to Tommy.

As all dds Discount stores, this is a variety store that carries clothing, jewelry, auto parts, stereo equipment and more. Ross Stores is also owned by the same company that owns this store. These stores are quite similar, however dds Discounts does not sell the high end clothing, jewelry and etc that Ross sells. But still, dds discounts does get some name brands. I like shopping at dds Discount stores for the the name brand clothing such as Nike, and Lane Bryant. I have just had the chance to shop at this new store in Salinas and found some great prices on shirts from $ 6 to $ 9. The $ 9 shirt had its original price tag on it which was $ 44 and came from Macys! COOL!!! Although I did find four shirts to buy, I have to admit that most of the clothing are styles that are too young and hip hop for me. But for me, it is the search for the ultimate bargains that makes it worth my while.
Pros:
–Great discount prices on merchandise
–some name brands can be found like Lane Bryant, Betty Boop, and Disney
–very good clearances
–similar layout as its sister store: Ross (but cheaper prices and some cheaper quality)
Cons:
–Many items are cheaply manufactured
–clothing leans more toward hip hop styles (not my taste)
–lack of modern tech (like blue tooth speakers and lightening iPhone cables)
